Hi all! Soooooooo Ascendancy was the Dragons' first match as members of the EXODUS roster, and as such, my roleplays for that match along with their segments over the course of the cycle will have been the first time many people here have experienced the characters (not sure how many would have read the RPs for their guest match vs Dangerous Minds last month?). General feedback is of course always appreciated, but there are a few things in particular I'd specifically like to know. * What impression do you get of their relationship? * Do they come off as faces? * How do you feel about the way Laurel dominates their promos/segments? Does Evangelista get enough onscreen definition? * Does the humour work / add to the pieces overall? * Since I was debuting straight into a big match and big storylines I went a LOT more expositiony than normal, to get people up to speed on who Laurel and Leanne are; was it too much, too little or about right? * And finally, do you... y'know... like them? XD This and any other feedback is deeply appreciated. Thank you. Ascendancy roleplay 1Ascendancy roleplay 2

I'm glad you asked after the iPPV, as I don't typically release my feedback until after and only if someone asks.
To answer your question, I have always liked Laurel and Evangelista, and I get the nature of their relationship to an extent. I do think that at least Evangelista comes off as a face, but it's Laurel that I always feel can swing on a dime. I get why Laurel dominates the segments though, as she's always come off as more of a bombastic personality. Considering how long you've had them together, I do believe that it makes sense for Evangelista just to sit back and let her shine. The humor works though, but as always, it's difficult to score well when one RP is all promo (and kills your Story Focus score) and the next one is all CD (and kills your Match Focus). All in all, you know how I feel. I wouldn't ask you here if I didn't think you could do well, but that's me.

Heh, yep. I'm not a fan of people asking for feedback before voting is done in case the responses are prejudicial. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! <3
