Character Info
Name: Ashleigh Powell
Twitter Handle (if applicable): TBD
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 115 lbs.
Hometown: Chattanooga, TN
Age: 20
Years Experience: 2
Alignment: +2
Entrance Music: “Dark Horses” - Switchfoot
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: Slender, but with a clear athletic build, Ashleigh obviously works hard to stay in peak physical condition. Her green eyes are full of character, and her brown hair, while seemingly changing styles and lengths at will, is always top notch; Ashleigh may be an athlete and a fighter, but she’s extra particular about her looks. (PB: Shailene Woodley)
Ring Attire: Aquamarine top and shorts, with white and gold trim; white boots, aquamarine/gold knee and elbow pads. Her hair, when long, is kept in a ponytail.
Gimmick: Inextricably linked to her family (despite lack of name), finally coming to terms with that fact; Ashleigh is driven to succeed on her own terms, working from the bottom of (r)Evolution Wrestling.
Personality: Almost inheriting her father’s killer instinct and competitive spirit, Ashleigh is a fierce competitor in the ring. Outside of the ring, she’s a little stand off-ish, and a little socially awkward. This is mostly because she’s focused on her athletic ventures more than social status throughout her life.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1- Ruthlessly competitive - Ashleigh doesn’t break the rules, but she’s perfectly willing to use them to her advantage, and will do as much of that as needed to win matches.
2. Pedigree - Her dad is the original White Phoenix. She was trained by him and secondarily by Jonathan Collins. Put those together in addition to the (r)Evolution Dojo training, and you’re dealing with someone who’s got plenty of firepower.
3. Athletic training - Basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming; Ashleigh’s natural athletic talent allowed her to spread herself thin and still succeed at four sports in high school. The result is possibly the most athletic trainee the Dojo and RW have seen in some time.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1- Not a people person- Ashleigh’s focus on sports stunted her social growth; because she was so focused on being the best, she neglected to figure out how to make and keep friends.
2. Easy to scout - You’ve watched some White Phoenix, you’ve watched some Jonathan Collins. Unfortunately for Ashleigh, you’ve now seen most of the tricks up her sleeve. More skill will come, but right now she’s not the most difficult wrestler to figure out.
3. Tunnel vision - If Ashleigh sees a weakness, she’s going to target it, that much is certain. What’s also certain is that she’s entirely likely to give up going down any other avenues, and focus entirely on that one aspect to try and attain victory.
Athletic Background: Basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming, all in high school, all at at least district champion level.
Biography: Ashleigh Powell was given her surname by her stepfather. He was (or is, given he’s still alive and still the man who raised her) a good man, raised her to be a good student, and encouraged her in all of Ashleigh’s athletic exploits. But her real father wasn’t knowledge until Ashleigh turned 18, and her mother told the story of the time she met and slept with a pro wrestler. Upon learning this and his identity, Ashleigh traveled across the state, to Memphis, to learn more about her father...White Phoenix. Phoenix, surprised by the girl’s nature (and seeing more than a little of himself in her), taught her his history...and subsequently awakened the fire within his daughter to follow in his footsteps. While part of her resented him for being persona non grata for her entire life to this point, Ashleigh knew that this was meant to be, and begged him to train her. Not only did he do that, he also used connections to get her training with one Jonathan Collins, under the condition he keep the connection quiet as long as possible. After a sufficient time had passed, Collins asked to bring Ashleigh to his own school in California to continue her training under Angela Jameson, DEMON Suzuki, and Steve Lenton.

Entrance Music: “Dark Horses” - Switchfoot
Entrance Description:
The distorted guitar intro of Switchfoot’s “Dark Horses” plays over the PA system, as Ashleigh Powell walks through the curtain. She’s wearing a sleeveless (r)Evolution Wrestling t-shirt over her gear as she heads to the ring, slapping a few outstretched hands. Her focus is entirely on the ring as she reaches it, climbing onto the apron before jumping over the top rope into the ring. After heading to her corner, she removes her t-shirt, throwing it down to the floor beside her as she prepares for the match.
