MAIN EVENT |
| | KEIJI MUTOH
| VS
| BRYAN DANIELSON
|
Main eventing this evening is Keiji Mutoh and Bryan Danielson: the greatest wrestler to emerge from Japan and the greatest wrestler to come out of the United States. Nothing needs be said about either accolades. Indeed,
this isn't a match about accolades: It's a match about art. The art of wrestling. So few come even close the the in-ring skills and abilities of either of these two wrestlers that to see them square off will be the ultimate dream match.
|
|
| CM PUNK
| VS
| EDDIE GUERRERO
|
A main event of the highest quality on any other card. Both men are considered among the best entertainers that the ring has ever seen. But the feud potential here is what sells this match to the final bell. Eddie, at a time, represented everything the Punk rejects and detests as a Straight Edge megastar. Having cleaned up and then gone on to major success, Punk would want to test Eddie's resolve and his character. And, given the talent of these two masters of storytelling, they will surely deliver.
|
|
| KENTA KOBASHI
| VS
| KENTA KOBAYASHI
|
Trainer and trainee. Master and apprentice. Mentor and protege. All the matches that are remembered by the history books have a one-off story and this is no exception. All Japan's Kobashi looks to settle (once and for all) who truly deserves the title KENTA as he squares off against Noah's very best Kobayashi. Two men that, at their peak, sold out stadiums and provided regular five-star matches, this personal match will not disappoint.
|
|
|
|
| MSCHIF
| VS
| MANAMI TOYOTA
| VS
| SARA DEL REY
|
Breaking the stereotype that women are everything except wrestlers are these three pillars of their industry. MsChif - the triple-crown champion (NWA, NWA:MS, Shimmer) through2008-2010 - takes on Manami Toyota - widely regarded as the greatest female wrestler of all time - and Sara Del Rey - a woman currently rivaling Toyota's legacy. All three women are considered among the best in the business, both for their in-ring skills and their technical ability.
|
|
| DR. WAGNER JR.
| VS
| MATT CLASSIC (Colt Cabana)
|
Every card needs some humour and fun, and these two always deliver. Wagner is highly accomplished in his home country of Mexico as being a hard-hitting, strong wrestler who can take it to any opponent. Classic is a proven talent in Ring of Honour, mixing his light-hearted (almost comical) approach to wrestling with a rarely-rivaled technical ability. Putting both men into the ring is sure to result in a technical showcase and a bucket of laughs!
| and
|
|
|
| and
|
| PHOENIX STAR
| and
| ZOKRE
|
| JUN AKIYAMA
| and
| KENTA KOBASHI
|
|
| LOS LUCHAS
| VS
| BURNING
|
|
|
This isn't some obligatory tag match ... it's THE tag match you've been waiting to see! Los Luchas are one of the up-and-coming tag teams in the US, having first won Copa De Lucha Tournament in 2006, then going on to win the prestigious NWA World Tag Team Championships, and then the even more prestigious AWS (?) Tag Team Championships. Their high-flying and quick action is sure to entertain an dazzle when they come up against Burning. Similarly, Akiyama and Kobashi's accolades are just as exciting: One Night Six Man Tag Team Tournament Winners in 2006, AJPW Tag Team Champions two times, back-to-back winners in 1998 and 1999 of the World's Strongest Tag Determination League, and the 1999 Tag Team of the Year. Do you know who will win? (Yeah, I know ...)
|
|
| JERRY LYNN
| VS
| ANTONIO INOKI
|
This isn't a match about a title or a legacy or even a grudge. It's a match about ... chins. Yes, chins. Inoki - long considered to have the largest and most prominent chin in professional wrestling - takes issue with Lynn and his facial anatomy. Inoki has vowed to put this issue to rest once and for all and literally slap the chin off Lynn's face!

K-Kingdom Presents: K-Fest!
Opening Match (Or Some Guys So Good They Only Need One Name!):
Kane vs. Konnan vs. Kazarian The Big Red Machine confronts the Mexican Hulk Hogan in this opening bout. Konnan has years of experience from all over the world. But come on. It's Kane. Who wants to see an angry Cuban get thrown all over the ring? UPDATED: Now with 100% more Kazarian!
FUJITA/SHAMROCK II:
Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Ken Shamrock OK, this has happened before. But never in a wrestling ring, withunder professional wrestling rules! Former IWGP Champ versus former NWA Champ! Fujita may have one of the strongest necks in the world, but how will that fare against an Ankle Lock?
Tag Team Action!
Khris Germany & Kit Carson vs. Kenny King & Kofi Kingston Khris & Kit, "Team Extreme" have an ongoing partnership, and are two time NWA World Tag Team Champions. Surely the veteran, but relatively unknown, warriors should have the advantage over Kenny & Kofi, teaming here for the very first time. You'd think that, but both men have held Tag Team Gold before, and are known for there flair in the ring. This is the one to watch, don't leave your seats.
THE MID-SHOW STRETCH:
Kenny Kaos vs. Kevin Kiley What am I thinking, you ask? Placing a match of this calibre at the point in the show? I'll tell you what I'm thinking. This match will be expertly timed to cover your loo break, the queue at the bar, the time for you to take a little walk around the arena to stretch your legs. You won't miss anything. Much. Just be sure to be back for the finish, because one of these chumps is going to be set on fire. Probably Kiley.
FORMER PARTNERS!
Shiro Koshinaka vs. Kensuke Sasaki No real beef here, just a display of skill. Former IWGP Tag Team Champions, this contest promises to be a true display of skill, as one of the greatest Junior Heavyweights from the early days of New Japan contests with one of its greatest heavyweights. Speed and Agility vs. Power and Constituation.
BECAUSE NO-ONE DEMANDED IT:
Kassius Ohno vs. Kevin Steen I'm not even going to bother here. Watch this match.
THE MAIN EVENT: LET'S SHOW DRAGON GATE HOW IT'S DONE
Keiichi Yamada vs. Alex Koslov One of the key originators of flippy ninja wrestling takes on one of the new heralds of it. Superhero vs. Hooligan. Japan vs. Moldova. Shooting Star Press vs. Russian Star Press. Make sure your necks are rested for the one, because the back and forth is going to be fierce.

S.A.V SPECIAL ACTION VIGILANCE 2: ANOTHER NIGHT'S STAND
OPENING RAP BATTLE: ROAD DOGG vs. K-KWIK
What SAV show would it be if it didn't open with something not wrestling? Here we have old tag partners and aspiring rap stars going at it in an all out rap battle to determine who is the blackest one. Look, it's Road Dogg rapping, you know you want it, don't question me. HE'S DEAD, JIM: HEATH SLATER vs. TOSHIAKI KAWADAThis one's not gonna be pretty, folks. On one side you have Heath Slater, would-be legend killer and human ragdoll. On the other side you have Kawada, a wrestling legend who is actually a machine only capable of hate that can only express it via kicks. Previous times Slater has sent out open challenges to legends have gone poorly, but this one will leave him spazzing out like a WWE 12 glitch. OPEN YOSHINO'S ANAL GATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: "THE LAST AIRBENDER" vs. NARUKI DOI DAICHI HASHIMOTO
Airbending, an ancient technique passed down through the generations, finally passed from his legendary father Shinya to Daichi. This "unique technique" involves getting into the head of rivals by engaging in...activities with their loved ones while in an airplane. While flying over to prepare for this show, Doi opened the airplane bathroom door to find Hashimoto engaging in airbending with Doi's longtime partner and friend, Masato Yoshino! Enraged, he challenged Hashimoto to a match, which Daichi would only accept if it would be for the title noted above. Doi, confused but ready to fight for his friend, accepted that in turn. This is going to be...something, folks. PIPER'S PIT WITH THE BARRISTER: "ROWDY" "BARRISTER" RODDY PIPER RD EVANS
I don't even need to explain why this is great, you're already ordering this show just for this. You're welcome. JUNIORS YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO, BUT SHOULD: KENNY OMEGA vs. MINORU TANAKA
What we have here, simply, are two wrestlers who are not as well thought of as they should be. Minoru remains mostly underneath legends like Minoru's own Jr. Stars partner, Koji Kanemoto, while Omega always seems to be in the shadow of his partner Kota Ibushi. This match isn't about beating one another, it's about showing the world why they deserve to be thought of on the same level as their partners. INTERMISSIONEvery show needs one of these so you can go pee and go look at the merch booth, helpfully run by Sam Houston, of whom the safety of his family depends on how well he can sell t-shirts. We're not expecting much, so we've already dug the graves out back. TRIPLE MAIN EVENT IFUTURE ACES FACE OFF! STRENGTH VS. FLIGHT!: TETSUYA NAITO vs. SHINGO TAKAGIThis one's simple. Pitting the men who will one day be the top star of their promotions against one another. Naito, destined to one day be the top face of New Japan, faces off against Shingo, destined (probably) to be the ace of Dragon Gate. Today they're here to pit their skills against one another to see who'll be the Ace of the two of them. The future is here, people. TRIPLE MAIN EVENT II SUBMISSIONS GRUDGE MATCH: YUJI NAGATA vs. MASAKATSU FUNAKI
To call this the result of bad blood is an understatement. In January of 2012, Nagata broke Funaki's orbital bone, sidelining him for six months. The next time they met, Funaki stole Nagata's signature Justice Salute to mock him after defeating his team in a six man, sending Nagata into a rage. Since then they've not been put across for one another, letting their hatred build for a year, and it's finally time to give them what each want the most: the other in the ring, no Blue Justice or Stack of Arms to get in the way. A normal match just isn't enough to contain the pure hatred. No, the only thing appropriate for these two is a SUBMISSIONS MATCH. Nagata, who has no shortage of different Nagata Locks, and Funaki, the MMA legend with 39 wins, 34 of them via submission. This is going to be two old, extremely pissed-off dudes stiffing each other and trying to snap each other's bones. TRIPLE MAIN EVENT III - HARDCORE MATCH HARDCORE HELL! THE LEGEND VS THE UNCHAINED GORILLA: TOGI MAKABE vs. MICK FOLEYThis is not for the faint of heart. Mick Foley needs no introduction, his explorations into how hardcore one man can be leading to countless classic, bloody moments across the world, becoming the undisputed king of hardcore. Togi Makabe is a modern Bruiser Brody, whose fetish for violence (especially with his signature chain) runs almost as deep as Foley's can get. When you put these two together, and tell them they can go as hardcore as they want, you can be sure that no matter the winner, neither going to be leaving of their own accord. If you're gonna be in the front rows, we suggest bringing a poncho.

Nature Post Op and Peoples Champ Ric Flair v The Rock 2 out of 3 falls Even Ric Flair with a horrible gimmick, going up against The Rock is a match we all wouldn't miss out on. Both men trade falls, going into the third one with more anticipation or who will be a clear winner. Both men in their primes, this match could go on for a very long time and leave you in suspense.
The American Hero and The Man Beast Kurt Angle v Rhino Hell in a Cell Animal versus Animal. Both men have had some crazy matches, but this one is going to be right up there with them. Who knows what kind of stunts will be performed, weapons will be used, and blood will be shed. Both men will push their bodies to the limit and put on a hell of a match, I know that much.
The Cowboy and Flying Fury James Storm v Rey Misterio Standard Match This could be the sleeper on the card. The power of Storm and the quickness of Misterio will make for an interest bout. Fans love both of these men, so I can already sense the crowds reaction when this starts to get going. Possibly a slow start but you can expect an amazing ending.
No Gimmick Needed AJ Styles v Swagsuke Kneeamura No DQ Legendary? Only reason this one isn't higher on the card is because I don't know Swagsuke that well. I can promise you however that they will both make each other look like stars. No DQ either, so there will be a lot of rules broken and tosses thrown in.
Undashing and Kamikaze Cody Rhodes v Mr.Kennedy Submission Match This one kinda made me laugh. Both men very capable of putting on an amazing match and getting the crowd into it. Giving them ample time to show off what they got in a submission match, where all the dirty tricks will be pulled out. One thing is for certain, there will be a lot of cheating going on. Who doesn't like cheating???
Piss Break El Dandy v Wataru Inoue v Titus O'Neil 10 Minute Time Limit Everyone needs to get a piss now before we go into the heart of the card. Grab some snacks, drinks, and chill the fuck out. This match is only going to waste 10 minutes of your time. Who knows if there will even be a winner.
Not Your Ordinary Tag Team Adam Cole and Eric Young v Brent Albright and Chris Harris Standard Match Not your ordinary tag team match, or is it? Good way to start a show with all these guys involved in it. It will be a little longer then expected, giving everyone time to get settled in their seats or prepare themselves for the brutal eye burning of the next match. Expect super kicks. A LOT OF SUPER KICKS!

The GGWF (Goldberg is God Wrestling Federation) is proud to present a special, one-night only dream edition of Tuesday Night GOLDBERG!!!!
Triple Threat Match "The Artist Formerly Known As" Elijah Burke v. Rhett Titus v. "Sweet 'N Sour" Larry Sweeney -Three of wrestling's indy darlings go one-on-one as former ECW brand and current TNA performer Elijah Burke takes on one of ROH's mainstays in former Truth Martini protege Rhett Titus and indy supermanager Larry Sweeney in triple threat action.
Monster's Ball Match Abyss v. Umaga -There will be no bones about it as fists fly as two of the industry's monster big men attempt to outslug the other as "The Monster" Abyss takes on the crazed Samoan tribal Umaga. Who knows what will happen when the rulebook is out the window!!!
High Flying Action Tiger Mask IV v. Homicide Special Guest Referee - Hernandez -Two of the sport's high flyers will collide as former Best of the Super Juniors winner Tiger Mask IV takes on the former ROH World Champion and TNA X Division Champion Homicide. But, how fair will the match be when Homicide's LAX tag team partner, Hernandez, serves as the special guest referee?
Lion's Den Match "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit v. Owen "I Am Not A Nugget" Hart -These two former alumni of Stu Hart's infamous dungeon are two of the most technically sound competitors to ever grace the industry. But, this time, only one man can escape from the Lion's Den!!!
Battle of the Greats "Macho Man" Randy Savage v. "The Model" Rick Martel -In a dream matchup, former WWF and WCW World Heavyweight Champion and legend Randy Savage takes on former AWA World Champion Rick Martel. Will Savage prove that the AWA deserved its demise, or will Martel show that his reign was no less meaningful?
Goldberg's Three Stages of Hell (Gauntlet Match, GGWF World Heavyweight Title) Goldberg Mask IV v. Scott Norton, Ryback, and "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash (Stipulation: If Goldberg wins, he gets to take on Gillberg in a 60 Man Iron Man Match) -This morning, GGWF Heavyweight Champion Goldberg woke up and decided that on this show, he would kick a hell of a lot of ass. As a result, he has booked himself in a gauntlet match where he must run through "The Flash" Scott Norton, infamous Goldberg imposter Skip "Ryback" Sheffield, and to gain a revenge shot at "Big Sexy" himself for the atrocious finish that occurred at Starrcade '98. To ease the fears of the fans that he wouldn't kick enough ass, Goldberg also decreed that, should he win (as if there's any doubt), he would get a 60 Minute Iron Man Match against the world's ultimate evil, "The One They Call" Gillberg. All six of the moves in his arsenal will be utilized hundreds of times in this match, but he will still kill Gillberg!!!!

And this teaches us not to fuck with the Turks, as they're the only ones to win drafts so far.
