Character Info
Name: “The Risen Star” Jimmy Riley
Height: 6'4”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Hometown: Cleveland, OH (now residing in San Diego, CA)
Alignment: -3 (Arrogant heel, harkening back to his early days in wrestling. Isn't further down the alignment scale because of his public relationship to friends Jonathan Collins and Fiona Rourke, and girlfriend Maggie Rourke.)
Entrance Music: “D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)” by Jay-Z
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: Jimmy keeps his brown hair somewhat short, but still allows for some shagginess and style. His green eyes are the inspiration for his green trunks in the ring, and some (girlfriend Maggie Rourke included) would say his smile is the kind that lights up a room. Time away from the ring (and cleaning his life up) have restored Riley's body to its original shape; heavier, but still dangerously agile. (PB: Nathan Fillion [Firefly-era])
Ring Attire: Jimmy Riley has opted to return to his original gear for this stint in the ring; he wears emerald green trunks, with black elbow supporters, large kneepads, and boots. The only other addition is plain white wrist tape. On his way to the ring, Jimmy will wear different colored zip-up hoodies (neon green, red, yellow, emerald green, black, and white). For particularly important matches, he'll put his hood up until he reaches the ring.
Gimmick: It was pretty well publicized that original owner of EXODUS Pro, Rufus Frost, didn't see Jimmy Riley as a “star” for the promotion. That opinion wasn't completely...true. Circumstances that remain unknown are the biggest reason for Riley's perceived status of being “held back.” Hired on by FX, Riley underwent a personal transformation that has resulted in him regaining several things; first, the weight he had on at the beginning of his career. Second, the dangerous in-ring and microphone skills that rose him to prominence in the first place. And finally, a job with EXODUS Pro Wrestling.
Personality: Outside the ring, Jimmy's become a lot more protected; he keeps the details of his life closed to all but his closest allies; the Rourkes, Jonathan Collins, and a few others. When the light on the camera turns on, however, he's snarky, and doesn't hesitate to point out the shortcomings of others in order to make himself look (and feel) better.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1. Quickness: Jimmy Riley isn't fast. What he is, however, is sudden. His style relies on being able to improvise in the ring, and he can get where he needs to go.
2. Personality: Jimmy Riley is a “master manipulator.” He's got a way with words that can (usually) incite opponents and sway allies further to his side.
3. Style Mastery: Jimmy's “kinetic striking” style isn't something that hasn't been done before, but he might be one of the best at it. There's a certain strength behind his trademark moves that doesn't seem normal from a regular guy doing the same thing.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Not Here to Make Friends: Despite being able to woo allies rather easily, Jimmy Riley isn't one to make those alliances. He'd rather keep the spotlight entirely on himself, preferring to not share it with opponents or partners unless he has to.
2. Back to Basics: Sometimes, Jimmy Riley gets frustrated during a match. When this happens, he'll abandon any specialized game plan and try to fight an opponent straight on, abandoning the improvisational style mentioned above.
3. Living the Life: When surrounded by a bunch of “rock star” personalities, it stands pretty easy to realize that Jimmy Riley's going to be the ghost of his past. He seems pretty dead set on staying clean, but the possibility always lurks in the back of his mind.
Biography: Most of Jimmy Riley's story has been told before; his days in the northeast indies, his time away from wrestling, his comeback in Knoxville. The mystery that haunted him had been the fate of his father, but that's been figured out. The other ghost haunting him is personal demons that had to be dealt with over time. With all of that handled, his ego returned to its original heights, Jimmy Riley has christened himself “The Risen Star,” taking on the stylized monikers of his original influences in wrestling, the Ashton Family. The result is an older, wiser Jimmy Riley than the one who made his name in New York City, and one that is just as, if not more dangerous.
Wrestling Style: “Kinetic Striking” - Jimmy Riley puts movement and force behind every one of his strikes, while also implementing some basic technical holds he's picked up through the years.

Entrance Music: “D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)” by Jay-Z
Entrance Description:
The horns break into the static noise of the crowd, and more than a fair share of the audience rises to their feet, boos beginning to sprinkle down in the arena. The lights have dimmed, but haven't gone completely out, as a single spotlight rests on the curtain. After mere seconds, Jay-Z's voice can be heard, heralding the Death of Auto-Tune;
[div align=”center”]Only rapper to re-write history without a pen
No ID on the track let the story begin, begin...
Begin[/div]
Jimmy Riley bursts through the curtain, his steps driven, his hoodie half-zipped, and his face almost stoic. His arms shoot out to the sides as he soaks in the reaction for a moment on the stage before beginning a somewhat slow walk down the aisle.
[div align=”center”]This is anti autotune, death of the ringtone,
This ain't for iTunes, this ain't for sing alongs
This is Sinatra at the opera, bring a blonde
Preferably with a fat ass who can sing a song
Wrong, this ain't politically correct
This might offend my political connects[/div]
Reaching ringside, Jimmy walks around to the far side of the ring, hoisting himself up to the apron. After looking out at the crowd, Riley nods at David Zinkus, then climbs up to the second rope, still on the outside of the ring.
David Zinkus: Now entering the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio...now residing in San Diego, California! Weighing in at two-hundred fourty-five pounds! This is “THE RISING STAR”...JIMMY...RILEY!
[div align=”center”]This ain't a number one record
This is practically assault with a deadly weapon
I made it just for Flex and...
... Mister Cee, I want ni**as to feel threatened
Stop your bloodclot crying
The kid, the dog, everybody dying, no lying[/div]
Jimmy hops down into the ring, walking to each side while his mouth moves almost non-stop. As he reaches the final side of the ring, he removes his hoodie, tossing it to the floor and leaning into his corner.
