Character Info
Name: Shinji Uchikawa
Height: 6'1
Weight: 221 lbs.
Hometown: Saeki-ku, Hiroshima, Japan
Alignment: +4 (Shinji has finally found himself, and it's the story of a man trying to do the right thing for himself and the people around him. Knowing who he is and his motives and ideals, he is now ready to take on the world.)
Entrance Music: The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (Glitch Mob Remix)
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: Pic base is Tomahawk T.T./T-Hawk
Ring Attire: Shinji currently wears long shorts akin to Chris Sabin's, in black and metallic gold. He also wears black boots with gold kick pads, along with a black elbow pad with gold accents on it.
Gimmick: Puro rookie starting to take the next step in defining himself and who he is.
Personality: Shinji is quiet and modest, but he isn't afraid to step up for what he believes is right in the world these days. Over the past few weeks, Shinji has studied more to become better in the ring and learn a lot from those willing to give him the time of day. Despite that, Shinji is still learning to break through the barrier of the traditions of wrestling in America and in Japan. Humble to a fault, he will often defer to members on the roster with more experience or higher ranking.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1. Never the same person twice. Shinji is still learning a great deal. Having already learned from Japanese legend Kazuma Fujita, now Shinji is learning from Jonathan Collins and others in the the hopes of becoming a more complete wrestler. This allows him to often come back to return opponents with new offense and a new game plan that may not be expected.
2. Technically sound. Uchikawa is a gifted amateur wrestler who placed high in several national tournaments in Japan. He was hoping to compete in the Olympics one day before pro wrestling came calling, so Shinji is no stranger to mat work.
3. Fearless. Shinji is unafraid of the future, or even bigger opponents. He is more than ready to compete against anyone and anything in the hopes of making a name for himself and truly defining who he is.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Too humble for his own good. Shinji has come up through the Japanese pro wrestling system and still classifies himself as a rookie. This often means he's seen setting up the ring before the show and veterans can often easily sway him to do things he may not necessarily agree with. In other words, he's a little more of a pushover for higher ranked stars.
2. Still a rookie. Shinji still has a lot to learn and has come to America on a learning excursion thanks to EXODUS' working agreement with KJPW. With that in mind, Shinji is trying to learn as much as he can...which hasn't been much. Yet.
3. The Jonathan Collins factor. Shinji has recently fallen in rank with Jonathan Collins and his supporters. Considering his bonds to his new mentor, it makes him a target for those with a message to send to the Director of EXODUS Pro.
Biography: Uchikawa comes from a strong amateur wrestling background, where he placed high in several national tournaments. Uchikawa aimed to compete one day in the Olympics, but decided to shift his goal towards Professional Wrestling following the devastating tsunami of 2011. Since joining the Kazuma Fujita dojo in August of 2011, Uchikawa has been a stand out; highly touted by experts. It remains to be seen whether or not he will live up to the hype.
So far, Uchikawa has done well for himself. After winning the 2013 Burning Spirit Cup, Uchikawa embarked on a learning excursion in the United States. Initially taken under the wing of Ryuji Kamigawa, Shinji was caught up in Kamigawa's war against the likes of Fiona Rourke and other people who believed in the ways of the Seikigun. In turn, as Kamigawa's personality changed, Shinji was labeled "The Messenger of God." It was a short lived transformation as Kamigawa left the company after No Church In the Wild. After briefly returning to KJPW, Shinji displayed techniques learned from time training with Jonathan Collins, showing he had mastered a variation of Collins' OMEGA-16 submission. Now having been ordered by KJPW star TAKU to return to America and "Find yourself in America!", Uchikawa has returned in the hopes to complete his task and return to KJPW a star in his own right.

Entrance Music: The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (Glitch Mob Remix)
Entrance Description:
The arena lights start to dim as the crowd starts to anticipate the arrival of someone as the soft intro from The Glitch Mob's remix of "Seven Nation Army" starts to get louder and louder before lyrics...
[div align="center"]I'm gonna fight 'em off
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
They're gonna rip it off
Taking their time, right behind my back
And I'm talkin' to myself at night
Because I can't forget
Back and forth through my mind
Behind a cigarette
And the message comin' from my eyes says leave it alone...[/div]
And as the beat drops, the lights quickly come to light, Shinji Uchikawa standing at center stage, alongside his friend and manager, Tom Higashikata! The lights continue to pulse at the heavy beat as Shinji looks out at the crowd, taking a deep breath before he slowly starts to walk down as the heavy beat disappears again to once again go into the second verse.
[b]David Zinkus:[/b] INTRODUCING....FROM JAPAN....UCHIKAWA, SHINNNNNNNNNNNJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
[div align="center"]Don't wanna hear about it
Every single one's got a story to tell
Everyone knows about it
From the Queen of England to the hounds of hell
And if I catch it comin' back my way
I'm gonna serve it to you
And that ain't what you want to hear
But that's what I'll do
And the feeling coming from my bones says find a home...[/div]
And once again, the beat kicks in, and Shinji hits the ringside area, slapping hands with a bunch of fans, all before stopping by the front row area where several of the Section B kids managed to score seats, all before hugging his friends who have started a "UCH-I-KA-WA!" chant for him before he slowly hops up to the apron before stepping into the ring and rolling to a knee before spreading his arms wide as a light shines down on him as the crowd erupts!
