Character Info
Name: White Phoenix
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hometown: Nashville, Tennessee
Alignment: +5 (A "living legend," Phoenix is recognized wherever he goes, and revered in old territory cities where he's previously worked, the primary places being Nashville, Seattle, upstate New York, and Los Angeles.
Entrance Music: "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: A body that's been worn, but not ravaged, by time; White Phoenix has the body of a 48-year old wrestler. There's not a lot of muscle mass, but he's in good shape for a man his age. PB: Steve Corino (2014)
Ring Attire: Plain white trunks with a red/silver/gold design (found here) on the back. White elbow/knee pads, white wrist tape, with boots that match the color of the design on the back, which changes from match to match. His right knee is adorned with a black knee brace, designed to be as sleek and out of the way as possible. Entrance attire is an open hooded white robe with fire designs around the bottom that reach up to the waist.
Gimmick: Out of the ring for ten years, Phoenix has embarked on one last run with a local startup, Force 1 Wrestling. After achieving the accolade of becoming F1W Champion, he accepted an invitation from long time friend Jonathan Collins to participate in EXODUS' "Crucible" event.
Personality: A traditionalist; Phoenix reveres the "old way" of doing things, and greatly despises people who are out to "redefine" or "change" wrestling. Not only does he prefer the way it was during his heyday, he doesn't think it can be done.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1. Every Trick in the Book: Phoenix knows them all. Hell, he knows the ones that have been taken out, and with 10 years out of the ring, he's probably got a few new ones he hasn't shared.
2. Technical Skills: While the rest of his abilities may have gone away with time, the same can't be said for Phoenix's mat wrestling. It would be hard to call it "world class," but it's really damn difficult to get out of his holds.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Age: One of the oldest active wrestlers in the sport, Phoenix's age plays against him in all the obvious ways; he's not fast, he's not strong.
2. Stamina: Could probably be combined with the above, but...either way, he's got a "surprising" gas tank for a guy his age, but Phoenix isn't going to be wrestling too many iron man matches anytime soon.
Biography: White Phoenix debuted in the old Nashville territory in 1986; from then until 2004 he traveled constantly as one of the premiere high flyers of pro wrestling. His skills were ahead of anything some people had seen before, and got him from Tennessee to Japan, Mexico, and Europe. Along the way he racked up an impressive count of titles, and trained multiple future World Champions. At the age of 47, he chose to return to the ring in Nashville-based Force 1 Wrestling, where he would be given the opportunity to compete for their top title. At F1W's Overkill event, Phoenix achieved what was thought to be improbable, winning a triple threat match to claim the title.

Entrance Music: "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash
Entrance Description:
A stomp. A clap. Stomp. Clap. Stomp. Clap. The crowd falls into the rhythm as the unmistakable voice of "The Man in Black," Johnny Cash, comes in over the PA system.
[div align="center"]You can run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time.
Sooner or later God'll cut you down
Sooner or later God'll cut you down.[/div]
Through the curtain walks White Phoenix, his body swaying with the beat and his white robe doing the same. Pausing for just a moment, he looks around at the crowd before he slowly walks his way down the aisle. Phoenix is focused on the ring, but makes sure to reach out and acknowledge the fans reaching back at him.
[div align="center"]Go tell that long tongued liar,
Go and tell that midnight rider,
Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down.[/div]
Reaching ringside, Phoenix looks up at the ring, taking assessment of the task at hand. After a moment, he walks up the ring steps, takes a few steps onto the apron and brushes his feet off before getting in. He puts both arms up for a moment, looking out at the fans before dropping his arms back to his sides and heading to his assigned corner.
