So what story touched your heart strings, or grabbed your attention the most?
The Dawn of the New Age:
- The manifesto of Gods & Monsters has changed many times during the half year. However, one thing has remained constant; Christum Furor and his desire to rebuild professional wrestling in the image he desires. His ambition has fueled everything he's done, and that ambition has helped him recruit the likes of Jerry Matthews, Savannah Taylor, and most recently and most shocking of all - Sally Talfourd. Though his road has been rocky, yet intersting all the same as we've watched the Seikigun and G&M declare war against one another. There's been battles, and casualties on both sides, but the end has justified the means according to Christum Furor. He swore that he only saw one possible future - one where he was a two time EXODUS World Champion, and where Gods & Monsters were controlling the company, shaping it in the way they see fit. That dream has come to fruition. The Dawn of the New Age is finally upon us.
The Ascension of Lexy Chapel:
- Lexy Chapel's rise to fame has come out of thin air almost. Nobody expected much from the second generation star, but Alexandra has remained hopeful in it all. She used the injury to her husband and partner, Nathan Chapel to springboard herself right to the top of EXODUS, starting with an impressive string of victories that was punctuated by her win over Jerry Matthews at The Downfall of Us All to become the EXODUS International Champion. She is undefeated. She is arguably the fastest rising superstar in EXODUS history. She's worked hard since day one, and has been one of the best feel good stories in recent memory.
Fiona's Chase For The World Title:
- Fiona Collins has been interested in one thing; recapturing the World Championship that she defended on five separate occasions and held the longest. But it hasn't been an easy road for The Stardust Seraph. In fact, it's been a difficult and heartbreaking one. It's one thing to fail to reach your goal, it's another thing to come so close time and time again. That was the narrative with Fiona. Many questioned whether she had what it took to get back to the top the mountain. And that scrutiny was legitimized in her runner-up finishes in both The Honor Cup and The Brightest Day Cibernetico. But Fiona never gave in to the whispers of her doubters. She never stopped believing that she had what it took to reach the level that's helped her capture numerous titles, and milestones. That hope and self-belief came full circle, as she finally got the monkey off her back by winning The Crucible at Absent Are the Saints. The Stardust Seraph is back, with another World Title bout in her future, beginning another journey that she hopes will end with her becoming a two time Champion.
TROUBLE Has Arrived!
- Steve Lenton and Wulf Erikksen are one of the best Tag Teams in the world. It took them three tries but they finally captured the EXODUS Tag Team Championships. However, they didn't stop there. Between Lenton's meteoric rise to the World Title Picture during The Battle Without Honor or Humanity Cycle, both men as a tandem proved time and time again that they were a forced to be reckoned with. Many will remember them for their incredible defense against DESTROY ALL HUMANS at The Downfall of Us All. Everyone will remember how great they've been as a unit, and how great it's been to watch them cement their legacy.
Zack Lifer's Detention:
- Zack Lifer is one of the most controversial figures in EXODUS Pro Wrestling. Everyone has an opinion of the man, for better or for worse. Following his defection with Gods & Monsters, Zack Lifer found himself alone, trying to find his way and navigate the field in EXPRO. He hasn't been a man with many answers for life, but everything he's done has been in an effort to do the right thing. That's what's mattered to him - doing what's right, regardless if it's at the expense of his own physical well being, or his own career, evident in the Year Long Detention and Title Ban he's been sentenced to for speaking out on some of the questionable decisions Cleon Gray has made. His rebellion against the authority, and his willingness to stand for what he believes in has begun to make him an endearing figure in the eyes of the fans. Whether it's standing up to Cleon, to Gods & Monsters, or standing up for people like Jimmy Riley in times of peril, Zack Lifer is a man determined to do what he thinks is best. The New Iron Saint's change in heart and beliefs has been compelling, and will continue to be as he fights for change, and to defeat Christum Furor and Gods & Monsters.
