The feed cuts to static, then to a black screen, before revealing a large figure seated at a small table, the scene illuminated by a line lightbulb. Upon further inspection, the figure is none other than Naoki Arishima, who's fame has recently been garnered at the expense of the EXODUS Sekigun and his fellow (R)evolution classmates. The camera zooms in to reveal the stoic man playing with two small magnets, staring at them with a buster fascination. The magnets make a clicking sound as their magnetic attraction pulls them toward each other. Arishima's face remains vacant and emotionless as he pulls the two objects apart, then turns them around in effort to slide them together once more, only his attempt proves fruitless.
Noaki Arishima: Who am I...
The ominous figure doesn't even acknowledge the camera as he begins speaking, his tone Christum Furor-esque.
Noaki Arishima: I was shipwrecked and lost in society's moral sewers with no hope for salvation. I tried to pull myself from the wreckage but I couldn't. I was born into this world without an identity, and the one I created was false. My reality was false. I tried to conform to a society that didn't accept me, and went about my daily life submitting to a meaningless grind that would have me die with nothing to show for it, and nothing to call my own. But then he found me. He showed me that the very things that made me hated, vilified, and mocked in this world were the very qualities that made me perfect. And I am perfect because he taught me that the key to finding your true self is to take all the anguish, the hatred, and pain you've endured and form that energy into one massive ball mixed with whatever psychological afflictions you have and harness that power into a sword made of kinetic force.
Arishima runs his fingers through disheveled hair, then vigorously slams his arm onto the table in a sword like motion.
Noaki Arishima: And I am his WEAPON. I am the sword of the New Age, and the shield that will protect those who wish to murder the Messiah of the Enlightened Future because I am drawn to him. I am devoted to him. He is my Savior, my Shepard, and the one who has given me the tools to carve out my destiny, and create a reality that is mine and mine alone. I am the one who will inherit the world he has architected, and in his world-
The brooding figure grabs the magnets again, displaying the two negative poles to the camera, watching as the objects repel one another.
Noaki Arishima: Those who repel Christum Furor will be executed by the BLADE...
Arishima sets the magnets aside once again, looking into the camera now as the light suddenly dims out.
Noaki Arishima: The blade they call Arishima, Naoki.
Ichi had a bad night. That might be an understatement. Ichi had a horrible night. Being put in a triple threat match against two competitors like Kylar Stark and Oliver Creed would be bad enough. But of course, this comes a short week after both Kylar and Creed appeared alongside Daisuke Iwakuma as members of #HATE. And so exactly what you would expect happen. The next 5 minutes was comprised of Kylar and Oliver teaming together to beat Ichi down and throw him around. This concluded when Oliver and Kylar seemed to reach a compromise on the victory, as Kylar nailed Ichi with a Silk City Necktie, and allowed Oliver to get the pinfall off of Stark's finisher. Yay, teamwork?
