We open up the show with Carey Dean surrounded by his usual cohorts, Tom Higashikata and Cailey Carter. Both seem absolutely irate with him, but as he reaches for his hoodie to get set to head out to the ring for his match against Cassidy Carter, he gets stopped by them both.
Tom Higashikata: What's this about you telling people you're going out there alone, bruh?
Cailey Carter: Carey, you can't be serious. You're going to get destroyed out there by yourself unless you have some help.
Carey yanks his hoodie away from them, putting it on as he glances at them and shakes his head.
Carey Dean: I think I've done enough to you two. You both get attacked every time I bring you out there, and I'm not having that on my conscience again. Every damn time. It's like goddamn clockwork, and I'm not dealing with it. The two of you, stay back here.
Cailey Carter: Carey, that's not how this works! You can't just go out there and throw yourself to the wolves alone!
Carey Dean: Cailey, it's not a request. I want the two of you to stay right fucking here!
Cailey Carter: UGH! You frustrate me! I'm coming with!
Carey Dean: Fine! Stay right here while I go get you something to defend yourself with out there.
Carey nods as the two of them finally breathe a sigh of relief before he leaves the room. As he shuts the door, a gigantic click can be heard as he seems to be locking the door from the outside with something.
Cailey Carter: Wait...did that idiot...CAREY!
Cailey runs to the door and starts trying to open it, finding that it's to no avail.
Carey Dean: You two will thank me later!
He slams his hand on the door a couple times to let them know he's on his way, and Cailey continues to slam her fists on the door in anger.
Cailey Carter: ARGH! THAT IDIOT!
Tom Higashikata: That bruh gonna get got, kiddo. Hope he's ready.
And with that, the two sit in frustration, resigned to their fate as they hear the whistling of "Electric Rodeo" fade into the distance from the other side of the door.
The crowd jeered the arrival of Cassidy Carter, but she shocked several people by actually arriving alone. Their jeers quickly turned to cheers when "Electric Rodeo" hit, the crowd erupting as Carey Dean arrived solo for the upcoming match. Both parties seemed ready for a fight, but Cassidy quickly moved back to her corner, surprising no one when suddenly Celeste Archer, Jaina Frost, and the mysterious man that appeared with Jaina at the Riot, Mogui, appeared. Carey didn't come alone either, producing a crowbar from his hoodie, ready to take on the S.O.S. and their associate. Carey kept himself at the ready, looking around for a moment before he started to go after Cassidy, sending the remaining three into a frenzy to get into the ring! Carey flailed his crowbar everywhere, not being afraid to hit anyone to keep himself safe, but the numbers game as always proved to be too much. However, unlike previous times where Carey had to stand alone, he was surprised when suddenly he was joined by RW's resident bounty hunter, Daniel Lanning! Lanning ran in to defend his friend, knowing it was still 4-on-2 until the duo was joined by Shinji Uchikawa. Uchikawa, who had taken it upon himself to not only defend RW but a fellow Based Empire member, came to help them, still falling victim to the numbers game only until the lights went out. When they came back, a familiar face joined them in the form of WEAPON! However, unlike the previous incarnation where it was Chris Strike, this version was more feminine in form, and in a purple outfit as opposed to Strike's green color and the blue he originally debuted in. The female version helped the trio chase off the S.O.S. and help keep RW safe for now. With the sisters and their mystery man screaming at Carey and company, vowing revenge, the group continued to taunt them, daring them to make a move now that the odds were even.
