Who had the best match of 2014 in EXODUS?
Chandler Scott v. Andreas Lasiewicz (EXPRO On FX #8) - In a first round Honor Cup match, the two members of the Godfathers of Wrestling met in an extraordinary affair that we're still talking about though it happened only a month after the first Autumn Effect! Considering how it stands the test of time from the beginning of the EXODUS year toward the end, it speaks volumes for how intense the encounter was between the two allies.
The Crucible (Absent Are the Saints) - 20 people competed for an opportunity at greatness, an EXODUS Pro World Title shot at Korakuen Hall! There was surprise entrants, the return of Christian Kane, and JUSTIN BROOKS LITERALLY PUNCHING SOMEONE IN MID AIR! In the end, it came down to Kerry Windsor and Fiona Collins, Fiona completing a frustrating journey back to the top of EXODUS and outlasting some of the biggest names in the company, including Abby Park, Chuck Matthews, and the legendary White Phoenix.
Chris Strike v. Christum Furor (The Autumn Effect 2) - This was what it all boiled down to. Chris Strike enduring a year from hell to finally get the World Title shot that had been promised to him by winning at previous Autumn Effect. With the fate of the company's direction on the line, Strike had given his all, including showing an iron will to not be buried alive, burying Christum Furor and putting an end to "The New Age" once and for all.
Johnny Cannon v. Abby Park (The Autumn Effect 2) - Every time these two step into the ring as partners or enemies, magic happens. On this night, with a shot at the World Title on the line, Abby Park returned to the top of EXODUS, taking out a mountain of frustration involving her former Short Change Heroes partner. The match was unforgiving, relentless, and one of the most violent in EXODUS history, and it culminated in what could be the most humiliating moment of Johnny Cannon's career.
EXODUS Sekigun v. Gods & Monsters (Long Way Down) - There was a lot at stake going into this night, and it seemed like the Sekigun was finally putting things into place. The Sekigun had started to unite, Jonathan Collins leading a team of himself, Steve Lenton, Chandler Scott, and Chris Strike against the Gods & Monsters team of Christum Furor, Sally Talfourd, Lady Magdelena, and Savannah Taylor. The match had several shocks and surprises, but it was the interference of Daisuke Iwakuma that set up the finish and the prelude to the final chapter of the EXODUS/G&M war.
