Welcome, everyone, to EXODUS: YEAR TWELVE, my diary in this here Wrestling Diaries forum. This is unlikely to be an EWR diary. I will likely use Fire Pro Wrestling R to sim some of the easier to sim matches, but I didn't want to be hamstrung by the limitations of EWR or FPWR in booking for a company like EXODUS, so a lot of this is pure fantasy booking and Sean writing a looooooot.
Perhaps the most important thing you need to know about this diary is that I will be revealing very little up front. As the diary goes on, though, I promise you all that I will answer the numerous and sundry questions that reading it will likely bring about. This diary has two goals:
1. Explain what has happened to EXODUS over the past decade, including all of its notable talent.
2. Tell the story of EXODUS' twelfth year of existence in this universe.
Any questions, comments, or feedback (which are all much appreciated) can and should be left in the discussion thread in this forum. Thanks, everyone, and I'm hoping you all enjoy this.
Without further ado, the first act to the prologue of this little story, the card to the event that ends EXODUS' eleventh year and begins its twelfth, the Autumn Effect XI.

EXODUS Pro Presents The Autumn Effect XI!
November 17th, 2023
The EXODUS Arena at UCSD, San Diego, California
MAIN EVENT: SIXTY MINUTES. TWO ICONS. ONE CHAMPION.
CALEB STORM (EXODUS Pro World Champion)
vs.
CHRIS STRIKE
- In EXODUS, no two names are more respected than Caleb Storm and Chris Strike. Their match of the year candidates are too numerous to count. Both men have the utmost respect for one another, too. So why are they fighting for the EXODUS Pro World Championship in the main event of the biggest night of the year? Easy! Chris Strike made the challenge, Storm accepted - under the condition that it be a 60 Minute Iron Man Match, and here we are! On a night so often known in EXODUS history for blood feuds, Caleb Storm and Chris Strike look to change the perception of the Autumn Effect main event over sixty of the most hard-fought minutes you will ever see. Can the Saint of Hope retain his title over perhaps his most difficult challenge to date, or can Chris Strike win his record-setting SIXTH EXODUS World Championship?
THE GODFATHER OF WRESTLING VERSUS THE SUPERSTARDUST SERAPH!
FIONA COLLINS
vs.
ANDREAS LASIEWICZ
- Both of these competitors aren't with us full time in EXODUS any longer - albeit for entirely different reasons, but when they do show up, fireworks are inevitable. Fresh off of filming her live action adaptation of Sailor Moon, Fiona Collins returns to an EXODUS Pro ring to face the Morning Star, Andreas Lasiewicz, back for another huge Autumn Effect appearance. It's a match that could only happen at the Autumn Effect! Will Fiona Collins even her lifetime record against the nearly unbeatable Andreas, or will Lasiewicz continue to prove why he is arguably the greatest talent ever to step into an EXODUS ring? Add in the rumors that this is Andreas' final match, ever, and you have a recipe for a memorable, MEMORABLE contest!
FATAL FOURWAY ELIMINATION FOR THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP!
CAREY DEAN
vs.
ANDERSON COBALT
vs.
YOSHIKO WATANABE
vs.
JAINA FROST
- Ask most EXODUS fans who the best stars are to never get a shot at the EXODUS Pro World Championship, and odds are they'll mention one of these four names. Whether due to a decade long blood feud (in the case of Carey and Jaina), tenure as a tag team specialist (Yoshiko), or a combination of crippling headaches and awful luck (Anderson), none of these four EXODUS mainstays have ever had their chance to grab the brass ring. At the end of this contest, one of them will snatch it with both hands. Who will go on to the first PPV of 2024 and take on the World Champion? Will Carey Dean and Jaina Frost be able to focus on the match and the prize and not each other? All of these questions, and more, will be answered!
TLC VI - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
RUSH HOUR 3 (Black Jones & SHIZUKA, EXODUS Pro World Tag Team Champions)
vs.
THE POWER COUPLE (Chandler & Savannah Scott)
vs.
THE HIRED GUNS (Daniel Lanning & Ryuji Kamigawa)
vs.
THE SHORT CHANGE HEROES (Abby Park & Johnny Cannon)
- It's the match so violent EXODUS banned it for nearly a decade! After the horrific damage toll of TLC V back in 2016, EXODUS Director Jimmy Riley swore that the contest would never happen again! But Jimmy is retired and enjoying the fruits of a successful career, so Interim Director The Masked Salaryman has listened to the fans and brought back the car crash! Rush Hour 3 faces a task no tag champions in over seven years have - surviving TLC with their titles intact! Opposing them are three of EXODUS' mightiest tandems. Chandler Scott and Savannah Scott, both of whom need the EXODUS Pro World Tag Team Titles to complete a career grand slam, see this match as an opportunity to cap off sure-fire Hall of Fame careers. Daniel Lanning and Ryuji Kamigawa both see another huge payday in their future, and have been nothing short of devastating in their short tenure together. And, most shockingly of all, Abby Park and Johnny Cannon recently buried a decades long hatred and shunning of one another to sign themselves up! Can the Short Change Heroes do the impossible and win tag team titles TEN YEARS after their last reign? Will the Power Couple cement themselves in EXODUS legend? Will the Hired Guns get paid? Or will Rush Hour 3 overcome all the odds arrayed against them and prove they're the best in EXODUS? One thing is for sure - all eight competitors will never be the same!
LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST - SUBMISSIONS ONLY!
CHRISTIAN KANE
vs.
VENUS
- We thought Christian Kane had changed. Perhaps he actually had at times. Whatever the case, the Handsome Drifter is in hot water, thanks to his former bae discovering evidence of Kane's infidelity over THE PAST DECADE while claiming to be a one woman man. The Supermodel Submission Specialist promptly left the unaware Kane at the altar, leaving Christian to wonder just who stooged him out. (Spoiler alert - it's probably Chris Strike.) After months of ducking and dodging the vengeance of a love goddess scorned, EXODUS Interim Director The Masked Salaryman finally forced Kane's hand, and made this contest between the former lovers. The ruleset certainly favors Venus, but Christian Kane has gotten himself out of (and in to) tighter spots before. Is Christian in over his head, or can #STUDLIFE prevail over perhaps the most focused Venus EXODUS has ever seen?
REVOLUTION REUNITED - ELIMINATION RULES
REVOLUTION (Shozo Arino & Aries Reed & GRENDEL & Devan Whitmore)
vs.
SHINJI UCHIKAWA & GINERVA STORM & ANASTASIA STARLING & SIMON RAINES
- Ten years ago, a Revolution began, and EXODUS was never the same. Ten years later, the group reunites in honor of all that they achieved together. Nowadays, Shozo Arino, Aries Reed, GRENDEL, and Devan Whitmore have little in common, but all four launched to superstardom thanks to their allegiance together in 2014 and 2015. To oppose them, EXODUS officials chose the greatest rival of each Revolution member. For Shozo Arino, his friend turned enemy turned friend turned enemy turned friend (it's complicated), the Saint of Justice, Shinji Uchikawa. For the formerly brash Aries Reed, the techie that he tormented into learning her craft, the Saint of Knowledge, Ginerva Storm. For the...well, for GRENDEL, Anastasia Starling, the woman he may or may not still have a shrine for in his closet. And for Devan Whitmore, her ex-boyfriend, and the man that she waged three of EXODUS' most violent wars over the EXODUS Pro International Championship with, Simon Raines. Can REVOLUTION get along these days? Can the team opposing them? Cooperation is of the utmost importance in a match that speaks to the REVOLUTION's former motto - Evolve or Die.
SYDNEY CHRISTENSEN SPEAKS!
- She's the Saint of Persistence. A three-time EXODUS World Champion. After a Hellish two years of rehabilitations and setbacks following blowing out her ACL, PCL, and MCL at the conclusion of her World Championship defense against Devan Whitmore two years ago, Sydney Christensen is 100%, and ready to return to EXODUS! Who does she want to face in her first match back? What are her thoughts on everything that has happened in her absence? Expect Christensen to answer these and many more questions when she steps into an EXODUS ring for the first time in over 700 days!
A MATTER OF RESPECT
JACKIE FOWLER (EXODUS Pro International Champion)
vs.
ALEXANDRA CHAPEL
- He was a bum. An arrogant plonker. And yet, lurking beneath all of that was a good, decent kid who just needed a little more encouragement. Jackie "The Lad" Fowler grew up later than most, but the fact is that he grew up. And with the sweet science on his side, he astonished EVERYONE to win his first singles title in a ten year career just four short weeks ago. And Alexandra Chapel? She hates it, because to her? It's HER belt. It always has been. And with a stupefying TEN reigns as International Champion to her credit, she might well be right about that assumption. There has been no bigger underdog in EXODUS history than Jackie Fowler facing Alexandra Chapel. Can he do the unthinkable, or will the Chapel Show continue to air in international markets for an eleventh season?
THE CASE OF THE KAIJU CHALLENGER
CTHULHU JONES (San Diego Bay Champion)
vs.
GOTHRA (w/ Cosmos Fairies)
- No one has ever denied Cthulhu Jones' talent. While the detective is often busy with out of the ring pursuits, he still finds time to lace up his boots every so often, and when he does, the results are usually spectacular. No less spectacular is the Great GOTHRA, a supersized competitor who has not been seen in EXODUS rings in some time due to her stint in Four Islands Pro Wrestling. With her FIPW tenure over, GOTHRA-sama returns to the United States to take on Cthulhu Jones for the San Diego Bay Championship! Can the detective crack the case of his 200+ ton adversary, or will GOTHRA emerge from San Diego Bay as its namesake champion?
THE CALL YOUR SHOT INVITATIONAL!
- The yearly tradition returns, as this battle royale is open to any and all competitors from around the wrestling world not already booked on the Autumn Effect card! Names such as Vivienne Robichaud and Damon Alexander have already thrown their names into the hat out of anger of being left off the big show otherwise. Will any shock outsiders or EXODUS legends show up? With the prize being a shot at either the International or San Diego Bay Championship at a time of the winner's choosing, the possibilities are limitless! It's the match that launched the careers of The Masked Salaryman, Anastasia Starling, and many, MANY more, and it will kick off the biggest event in EXODUS history!
