Four Islands Pro Wrestling today revealed the identity of the partners of both Shozo Arino and Akira Tamura for their coming tag team clash.
To the surprise of few, Shozo Arino selected one of his stablemates, and perhaps the most imposing, in the form of the giant GRENDEL. With a victory over former EXODUS Pro International Champion Steve Lenton on his resume, GRENDEL makes up for his inexperience with a brutal, hard-hitting style and surprising intellect for a man of his size and stature.
When asked for further comment, Arino declined, stating that he had said all he would say on the subject in his video, and that all further talking would be done in the ring on 12/31.
Given this news mere moments after the 12/29 show Akira Tamura wasted no time in finding a partner to take on Arino and his mammoth partner GRENDEL just two short days later.
“I found a bunch of worthless young boy shitheads on this roster,” Tamura lamented. “Thankfully, however, there was one young woman who stood out from the rest as being considerably less shitty. Kiriko Miura will be my partner, and together we will put down the REVOLUTION and send it back from whence it came.”
The Eternal Star wasn't lacking for confidence, dismissing Shozo Arino as an “attention-grabbing young punk” and vowed that his first appearance in Four Islands Pro Wrestling would be unsuccessful.
“I don't know how EXODUS works,” Tamura admitted, “nor do I care. But when someone like that has the temerity to raise their voice to me and try to make a name off of my hard work, I respond in the best way possible – I smack them in the mouth until they learn that speaking isn't a good idea.”
Shozo Arino & GRENDEL could not be reached for comment regarding Akira Tamura's incendiary words, but one cannot imagine the REVOLUTION members being pleased once they find out.
