Four Islands Pro Wrestling today announced it's 2/28/2015 card, to take place in the Shinjuku FACE. Unlike 2/26, a heavily tag oriented card, 2/28 will give the younger stars of FIPW a chance to shine on a bigger stage, with several big one on one matches.
The show will be headlined by two former deathmatch competitors, as Kiriko Miura battles Masami Inoue in something of a dream match for fans of indy deathmatch sleaze. No weapons in this one, though, as the Poison Flower battles the Devil's Daughter in a straight up wrestling match.
Barista will get a huge chance in singles competition to prove his worth against fan favorite Kenichiro Honda, while fellow Desert Strike Wrestling alum Patrick Flanagan gets an opportunity of his own against the ninja stylings of Yasushi Iguchi. Sapporo sensation Junji Nagata gets a chance to prove his worth against the elbow expertise of Daiichi Kakihara in a potential show-stealer.
Two big tag matches also are on tap, as the Samoan Storm of Alofa & Ofisa faces the power junior tandem of Jun Nakagawa and King Kondo. Cruel ISM also will be in action, as Nobuo Iizuka and Yujiro Maebara pit their submission tactics against the technical/flying combination of Rika Morooka and Chiaki Sakai in what looks to be a spirited bout.
Last, but certainly not least, is a three-way match in which FIPW young lions Tomohiro Ikeda and Yousuke Abe will compete in their first ever three-way match, against Revolution Wrestling youngster Naiser King. King has experience (albeit losing experience) in such contests, which could serve as a key edge for him in his second FIPW match.
All of this, and an update on Olivier Roy's condition from manager Bryan Cade!
