Character Info
Name: Zack Lifer
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 202 lbs
Hometown: Newark, New Jersey
Alignment: -3
Entrance Music: "Calm Before The Reform" - in Fear And Faith
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: Deep brown eyes, dark brown medium-length hair that sometimes hides his eyes somewhat with a scruffy beard that's rarely shaven. He's slightly covered in mild veins but nothing spectacular in his muscle tone, a slightly above-average build with a clear six pack nonetheless. Oftentimes, he has a crazed look in his eyes and a flame that won't let up until the match is done. He likewise has a visible mostly healed scar around his neck from being strangled with barbed wire in a barbed wire massacre match, not to mention a barely noticeable diagonal scar behind his right shoulder blade from the same night.
Ring Attire:
Sporting black hand and wrist tape with black trunks, a logo depicting a demented smiley face with a psychotic grin rests on his right side while the word Lifer stretched across the front in a gritty, stylized font that really catches the eye. Knee pads and stylized strapped boots along with matching kickpads cover his legs also, completing the attire.
The colors of the highlights including the logo and the text, as well as the kickpads, the knee pad design as well as the straps of the boots can vary from match to match. Most likely goldenrod, but sometimes they can be colored silver, red, or even monochrome - the black on his trunks, boots, and knee pads turning silver and the canvas turning a shade of dark gray so people can take in the face's features correctly. Other color combinations are obviously possible that follow this trend, including various minor modifications to the trunks' design very rarely for just one night on special occasions. Some of those alterations can include, but aren't limited to, a crimson blood design against the black or sometimes the smiley face can be seen wearing a White Nights helmet not unlike a knight in shining armor while still showing a piece of the chilling smile.
Gimmick: No longer believing himself a complete hero to everyone's dismay, he now learned the ability to look at matters in a more intellectual gray area than most others, a drastic change from his former self. He jokes that this is his 'reincarnation,' such as Magnus Gunner did in 'Christum Furor' but fails to take his newfound enlightenment too seriously.
Personality: He's willing to fight whoever gets in the path of his goal like his life depended on it, even if that involves a dirty trick or two up his sleeve. Wrestling means more to him than simply lining up with a rigid sense of honor, believing the ends justifies the means and that there's always a method to his madness now more than ever. Beyond his pursuit of what he conceives to be 'the right thing,' he's also internally very selfish, willing to do whatever need be to climb to the creme of the crop yet will take all precautions as to not hurt the ones he loves or cares about but isn't afraid to if absolutely necessary to obtain the recognition he's believed he's deserved since day one.
He's been much less temperamental than his former days, however, he still cares too much about what others think about him to a degree, making it his one sole intention for joining the wrestling in the first place - to prove to all those who said he couldn't do something wrong no matter the price, unintentionally paving the way for others in his shoes to not give up either. Nonetheless, he has a big heart in the ring and out, holding firm convictions as a slightly cynical idealist. He's medically psychotic, schizophrenic, as well as possibly other things he hasn't been diagnosed with officially. He's also an independent thinker who will never blindly follow a course without a reason, thinking every choice through despite what the rest of the company believes to be the truth without examining the evidence written on the wall.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1. Controlled Chaos: He's relentless and extremely unpredictable in his actions and his ideas, something that extends into his wrestling style, yet every move is with a purpose. His moveset was carefully honed with this in mind.
2. Misunderstood Genius: His mind is constantly moving at an accelerated level, a symptom of psychosis. In the ring, he's completely focused on the one goal that drives him - beating his opponent and planning an elaborate strategy (psychological attacks, staying back in multiple-man matches for optimistic strikes, etc.) that most benefits him in the end.
3. Tainted Heart: High resiliency. Wrestling means absolutely everything to him and he won't easily quit or keep both shoulders to the mat unless all hope is absolutely lost. Infamous for occasionally kicking out of finishers and after other powerful occurrences that any lesser man would have fallen victim.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Inhuman Berserker: When he becomes overly-emotional, he changes his wrestling style to suit his insatiable need to either beat his opponent(s) or simply torment them. On the flip side of it, however, his intelligence lowers and he's easily reversed by his adversary.
2. Iron-Will: Won't end the match early and may preform easily reversed spectacular spots (including possibly using his opponent's finisher or signature move) just to prove a point that could cost him dearly. Also, he's not a fan of count-out victories, making sure to bring the opponent back into the ring to save himself from appearing weak.
3. Reckless Abandon: Trying to get back up after even the most horrific of bumps is something that can clearly lead to serious injuries that inevitably end with long-lasting effects. Unfortunately, Lifer makes it a crucial mission to attempt to get to his feet and leave on his own accord if at all possible regardless of the consequences.
Biography: Due to the fact that his long-term memory is in shambles and the sole means we receive information is from his journals for the most part, not much can be for certain. He frequently changes his story without realizing it, to the level of speaking about his parent's death once upon a time, and then later claiming they're alive after all. What we do know for sure are a couple things, however minimal; things that remain constant in his journal entries through the years
Born with the name Nicolas William Kramer, Nick grew up in Boston, Massachusetts with his busy well-off parents, too concerned with their occupation (producers one moment, stockbrokers the next, etc.) to even devote more than an ounce of attention to their only son and on the rare occasion that they did, it was usually to criticize or punish. Because of this emotional neglect, a form of child abuse that greatly effected Nick as a child, he has grown to become immature and childlike at times, adopting the diagnosis emotional deprivation disorder as a result.
Growing up, he hated his hometown of Boston, believing himself surrounded by snobby people in his private school who he didn't care to converse with often and mostly remained a loner aside from a couple friends here and there. When he made it to high school, his parents finally dropped Nick off at his uncle's house, forced to live with his cousin Kimberly Young, who became like a surrogate sister for him, someone who finally understood. On graduation day, despite promising they would be there, his parents didn't show up, not even after they set aside seats especially for them. It was the last straw, a pivotal moment in his life that remains largely unchanged from the beginning.
After graduation, the rumor goes that he made a break for New Jersey, changing his identity (and legal name) to Zack Lifer to become his own individual person to lose every attachment to his parents he could find and finally went to college in the years to come. It's also rumored that he joined the wrestling team after his girlfriend at the time suggested it, a place where he could get out all his pent up aggression and finally feel like he meant something. Despite some minimal success, he failed to make any kind of memorable impact and vowed to hit it big in the wrestling world to spite those who insulted his ability as well as everything else about him if only to show those who didn't believe in him all his life that he was actually good enough. What happened after that is pure speculation.
Professionally, however, it can be said for sure that he signed to the independent wrestling company WuW, World United Wrestling, in very late 2007. In January 2008, WuW's more successful rival (who later bought out the company), xWo, was suddenly Zack Lifer's new home despite word that this was clearly the best of the best and that he wasn't even close to prepared for such a high bar in the wrestling world, something he was thought to never reach.
Xtreme Wrestling Organization. Many consider it the official beginnings of the man that would soon claim, against all odds, the xWo International Championship from September 27th, 2010 to its closure in April 2nd, 2011, as well as many other accolades that lack the brevity of that one statement.
Unfortunately, once it closed down, it took roughly a year for Zack Lifer to finally come back on the scene for reasons unknown. Adopting Full Throttle Wrestling - FTW - as his new holder of his contract, he stayed in that company for another year, only struggling to attain the lowest championship for unknown reasons - some believe politics, some believe otherwise - before his immediate departure upon finally taking a full year to finally move on to the medium rank in the system, frustrated beyond belief yet meeting a lot of good friends on the way that he keeps even now.
On September 27, 2012, Lifer signed on to PDW, notably becoming the PDW Next Big Thing Champion from November 4th, 2012 to May 12th, 2013. For those 189 days, Zack Lifer was better than ever, competing with more drive and energy than ever before, since then only learning from his tenure as champion for half of a year.
Some time after the date December 7th, 2013, already contracted with EXODUS at the same time, he departed from PDW on good terms, quietly sneaking away from the company to concentrate on his EXODUS endeavors. And in doing so, the rest was history as he continues to make a new splash in his new home ever since. That has yet to be realized and he will not be satisfied until the EXODUS World Championship is in possession.
Wrestling Style:
Having spent all this time in the wrestling business, Zack knows his fair share of reversals and it shows. While not the best technician in the sport, what he does know serves him well, a crafty move here or there turning the tide in an instant if the opportunity arises.
He couples that technical skill with his speed, willing to attempt to out-think his opponent(s) on the fly with his accelerated thoughts. His body reflects that, landing moves and strikes fairly quickly and relentlessly as a symptom, a methodical pace mixed in to it all.
In addition, while not a major specialty, Zack doesn't mind throwing several punches at his opponent when the time calls for it, usually opting to fight on his feet in the early seconds of the match itself, as well as whenever he has an opening.

Hometown: Newark, New Jersey
Alignment: -3
Entrance Music: "Calm Before The Reform" - in Fear And Faith
Entrance Description:
A brief flash of silence passes through the arena instantly as the stage is beamed on by gold and white lights, the bulbs dimming slightly. Villainous hues floated over the entrance, the ramp and the audience itself. Audible jeers are heard, the many in the crowd hearing the sounds of the first few words of "The Calm Before Reform" by In Fear And Faith boom through the speakers over the heavy, iconic guitar riff they've grown accustomed to ever since he's arrived on the scene. This, of course, signified one man and one man alone.
[div style="text-align:center;"][b style="font-size:10pt;"]LET IT OUT!
It's the end of the world,
I wanna hear you scream those lungs out! [/div]
As the flickering beams of amber shine down against the excited crowd, the camera looking up the stairs and to the cheap seats, they discover a familiar silhouette. There is a loud, heated booing from the fans, signs of various negative messages stretched across the ocean of angry EXODUS fans as well as a few rare, faithful "Lifer Addict" signs that juxtaposed with the others covering the screen. Adorn in a tan colored open sweatshirt, the zipper at the very bottom while he made his way down the steps with an unspoken purpose you could plainly see written on his face. A few people attempted to reach for him, trying to hold him back, however he casually refused to acknowledge it without a word, his sharp unrelenting eyes fixated on the ring instead.
[div style="text-align:center;"][b style="font-size:10pt;"]I can see every mind from this perspective,
I can pen every blank page that your temples seem to hide.
Can you hear me? Listen closely.
It's all I ask of you tonight, if you'd be so kind. [/div]
Lifer's slow, methodical walking gives way to sprinting, his legs moving him quickly towards the ring down the nearly endless row of stairs before he hops the leather barricade, a running jump that could be considered impressive by most, a wind of cockiness in the way he moved at a slowed down pace once more, the steel steps in his sights. His eyes flicker to the entrance way as he trudged up the first couple steps, not looking forward as he takes in the sight of the curtain for just a couple seconds with an intense look in his eye, the gears clearly turning.
As The New Iron Saint gets to the top of the stairs, his eyes flash across the arena, almost slightly stunned by the crowd response as he raises his arms to his side to form a cross, gesturing for them to let their voices be heard, his neck looking to the rafters. The audience gets louder as he mounts the turnbuckle, raising his right arm in triumph as a single golden colored firework shot diagonally on the stage regardless, the placement of its starting point mirroring the top turnbuckle he resided on - Zack now already pacing the ring - as it peeled loudly in front of everyone's eyes. Cutting across the arena air, another loud boo from the crowd burst up again, their eyes glancing at Lifer again.
[div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:10pt;"]It's the end of the world, I wanna hear you scream! [/span][/div]
The camera zoomed away from the scene, Lifer's arms stretched out wide for just a bit dramatically again, catching on the rope behind him as he soaked in the heat of the crowd with a literal blast, the firework shooting by swiftly in the backdrop. His chocolate brown eyes searched the disgruntled crowd, a smirk rising to his lips as the song faded mid-lyric.
