Lots of news, including the reveal of Lethal Lottery teams!
- Contract negotiations with The Artist known as Prince Kamijo have hit a stumbling block after the recent firing of Nicholas Gray. Gray was handling all contract details personally, and with his removal from office who knows how Edward Nair will handle proceedings. It is also noted that Kamijo’s request for a Camel dressed as actor George Hamilton, three Go-Go dancers wearing Bane masks and a copy of the Mona Lisa with her bare breasts out was rejected. However things were believed to be heading in the right direction when Kamijo was handed a recent selection of signed photos of Zero McHannon, which may or may not have been given to him without permission. More news on this as it arrives.
- Adrien Cochrane has had an extensive history with FX Executive Edward Nair. Cochrane has a clause in his contract to prevent Nair from firing him and is going to use his immunity to stand up against Nair about his decision to fire Jonathan Collins, Darrin Stearns, and Nicholas Gray. Word on the rumor mill is that Nair is going to be trying something outside of the box to keep Cochrane at bay if he can't fire him.
- And speaking of Nair, he announced that the signing of the ownership change in the ring at the beginning of the show. He's expected to fire the front office immediately in the ring to further humiliate the trio. How will the roster respond to this?
- And now the moment you've been waiting for...the Lethal Lottery pairings for our debut show on FX!
The Turks (Andreas Lasiewicz & Sally Talfourd)
Perhaps no team has a better shot at winning this tournament than the former masked Reno & Elena. The two have been nothing short of dominant (and undefeated) since coming to EXODUS Pro. With the war on LEGION finally over, the duo can focus on personal achievements, including catching some belts that have been eluding them.
Wulf Erikssen & Steve Lenton
A most interesting combination, Steve Lenton & Wulf Erikssen combine to form a team of power and may just lead the tournament in smiles. The duo are a couple of tough soldiers that know how to take a beating and dish one out in return. Erikssen is no stranger to tag team gold, and Lenton will be looking to ensure his waist doesn't stay bare for long after losing the International Title at Endgame.
Blake Jones & Sylar Drake
The luck of the draw paired up the two young stars Jonathan Collins has been mentoring and preparing to take over as the next generation of EXODUS Pro stars. Both have seen their stocks rise as of late, with Blake being the man to tap out Daisuke Iwakuma at War Games, and Sylar Drake being the new San Diego Bay champion. Could Drake & Jones take the next step and go through the remainder of the roster to become the new Tag Team Champions?
Fiona Rourke & Jerry Matthews
There's a lot of victory and not many losses collectively in this team's EXODUS ledger. Rourke & Matthews have been nothing short of successful against all comers in EXODUS, even if the two have had some struggles as of late. The former World & San Diego Bay champions look to be regaining gold, which is motivated for Rourke by doing something nobody else has done yet in this company's history - she looks to become the company's first Triple Crown Champion.
Ryuji Kamigawa & Adrien Cochrane
If there's any team in this tournament that seems to be fully prepared for anything this tournament will throw at them, it's got to be this unlikely duo. Kamigawa brings power and Cochrane brings speed to the table as the duo look to start cashing in on some of those tags of "breakout star" and "potential" tags they've both had since their EXODUS arrival. Though the two have had a rough patch of luck in recent weeks, both are hoping to use this tournament to rebound and claim gold. On last night's post-show, there was a great deal of talk about whether Cochrane can trust a man who is devoted to the dollar, but The Dropkick King believes the motivation for gold will prove stronger.
Kliff Ulysses & Magnus Gunner
The good news is these two have tag team experience together, something almost no other team in this tournament has. The bad news is that these two are also currently at the throat of one another. Gunner & Ulysses have had some of the brightest and biggest accolades in EXODUS, combining to be part of some of the biggest matches in company history. Can "The Loaded Pistol" and "The Ultimate Entertainer" put aside their animosity for a night to reign supreme as the winners of this tournament?
Zero McHannon & Christian Kane
Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, these two may be the most dangerous combination in the tournament. Ruthless, deceptive, beyond limitless talent. Christian Kane may be "world title or bust", but it's entirely possible Kane & McHannon could get on the same page to capture gold. Though some would say The Turks are the favorites to go all the way, these two may be the great stumbling block they or any other team may find in this tournament.
Heather Halliwell & Selena Alexander
The World Champ is in a unique situation. Selena Alexander is no foe, and will probably do her best to help Heather win the belts, but Selena's track record lately has not been the best of one, and Heather made no bones about the fact she was disappointed to have Selena as her partner on the EXODUS Post-Show podcast. Alexander will have to pull out a side of her never seen before to prove her worth to our new World Champ if they hope to claim gold!
