December 4, 2013; New York City; 1230 hours
The scene folds out to be a large room filled with wrestling fans who are answering questions to other lower wrestlers. Once the last question was asked. The host then gets up from his seat, and walks over to the board. He grabs the microphone, and clears his throat. He looks over at the crowd.
Host: How's everyone doing so far? Really good? I can tell. Well, today we got a special surprise for you. A man who's given wrestling everything he's got in his whole career. He's here today to take your questions and answer them, hopefully, beautifully. He was the main attraction towards the end of True Honor Wrestling. Spirit Z!
The crowd immediately pops, as 'Get The Fuck Up!' by Yelawolf plays. Spirit Z comes out, wearing a black shirt that represents the movie 'The Goonies'. He waves to the crowd, as he makes over to the podium, and grabs the microphone. The music stops playing. He grins, as the crowd immediately chants 'Spirit Z! Spirit Z! Spirit Z!'
Spirit Z: You know it's been forever since I've actually heard anyone chant my actual ring name in forever. Since last February, I believe. No, uh, I appreciate um this comic con type deal inviting me out here to entertain you guys, I hope.
The crowd laughs.
Spirit Z: But I am humbled. I've missed doing stuff like this. And it's good to be back in this environment again. So, yeah, answer away. Or I mean, ask away.
Half the crowd raises their hand.
Spirit Z: Uhhh.. How about you, in the front.
Fan: Rumors are saying that you're returning to wrestling in EXODUS. But you've already pretty much retired twice? And in your last promo ever, you even said you were retiring for good?
Spirit Z: Well, uh, there was someone who once told me that even the greatest athletes go into retirement, and realize that it's not their time yet. And you got to understand, the first time I officially retired in February was due to stress inside and outside of the ring. The fight I was trying to become the best in THW, and just couldn't achieve it because of management corruption, and the fact I was almost forced to be the best with no credit. That drove me to retire the first time. The second time, after PDW, was due to depression and the fact what I was going through outside the ring and the group I was affilating with at the time which almost led to my death. I was in a dark time. If you ever watched Lord of the Rings, and the part where Gandalf had to find himself? That was me. And I'm back. Not as happy as I should be, but I am content. And I feel new. So here I am. And I feel more ready than ever. And yes, you can use one of my unnamed nicknames, the Brett Favre of professional wrestling.
The hands fly up again. Z picks another one.
Fan #2: What's the situation with your divorce and your relationship with Willow?
Spirit Z: That's no longer important....... You.
Fan #3: How do you feel about coming back to a few of your old co-workers? Adrien Cochrane, Zero McHannon, Wulf Erikssen, and a couple others?
Spirit Z: Heh, well it's kinda good because I'll feel more at home. Adrien and I have had a pretentious past together when PCW was feuding with THW. And our many arguments over what makes ratings. And Wulf, with his drunken mindset, but he did help me find a job after I retired the first time as a gym owner. Sadly, that gym was bought out as I moved out of Albuquerque. And Zero. Zero's my best friend, so of course when you work with your best friend, things can either be easier or harder. But it'll be a challenge, and I love challenges. So here I am.......Ehhhh... You with the weird mohawk
Fan #4: Ayo, you still don't drink and smoke though, cuh?
Spirit Z: Who are you? Ronnie Banks? No I don't do damage my body in that manner. Eh, maybe a little wine every now and then.... One last question... You sir.
Fan #5: What's this new music you're coming out as. And what's with the new attitude? You're a lot nicer, more friendly, and laid back. What happened to the foul mouth, said whatever, ego-killing, middle fingered maniac?
Spirit Z: There was a quote I was once told back in wrestling school. Just when you had the answers, the questions suddenly changed.
Host: Thank you, Spirit Z! Everyone give a round of applause to the man himself, Spirit Z!
Spirit Z grins and waves to the crowd. He steps down, and shakes a few hands. Even signing an autograph or two, and hugging an old grandma. He then walks backwards towards the double doors still looking at the crowd. He gives one last wave, and then turns around to walk out of the double doors.
He grins suspiciously as he walked out.
