I am Itsumo Ichi, and this is the best day of my life!
It was a very, very rare occasion. Something he'd never expected. Doubled onto the momentous event of him finally being welcomed into the country he so loved it seemed almost surreal that Ichi would receive a gift from his often withholding cousin Daisuke Iwakuma.
America was full of surprises for Ichi! Perhaps things were turning around for him and he was being welcomed into the good graces past the cold Iwa-San exterior? He relished the thought. And it was so much to take in.
Everything was so much to take in! Simply walking through the city streets of Los Angeles was sensory overload for Ichi. All the American women, the American buildings, American sun, American sky, American birds, American crowds lining up for an absolutely Huge show!
"Oh my god. This is happening!" Ichi exclaimed, his heart pumping faster now.
"...What are you going on about?" Daisuke leered to his younger cousin as if he was broken.
"We're here. In LA. We're getting in line. RIGHT NOW. To see the greatest band in the world! It's all hitting me at once Iwa-San!" Ichi said, getting a bit giddy until Daisuke popped him lightly on the upside of the head. It appears that dream of being inside past the cold air of Iwakuma was only a dream.
"Of course we are! Were you day dreaming all day-" Daisuke sighed and relented. "Of course you were, I-chan." He rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry. It's been an overwhelming day." Ichi sank his head and gave a diminutive chuckle. "I'm in America. I'm here with you, as a Tag Team no less! We're about to see my favorite band of all time. Even you'd be excited!" He spoke up.
"Of course I'm excited." Iwa-San scoffed. "Why wouldn't I be for such a Grand occasion. Like seeing this band." He commented, but it only made Ichi chuckled. "What?"
"It's a Huge event to see this band. Iwa-San." Ichi said sincerely to him. Only getting back a sneer.
"That's what I said." He told Ichi.
"That's not how the pun works-"
"I don't care." He said staunchly as he turned forward. The two sat in uncomfortable silence for a moment as the line inched forward.
"....No Audry today?" Ichi peaked up at his now grumpy cousin.
"This shouldn't be long." Daisuke told him, Ichi quietly disagreed. "And I look forward to meeting this group personally more than the performance."
"....Really?" Ichi said excitedly. "Can I come along?"
"I don't see why you wouldn't I don't want you getting lost." Daisuke said, despite Ichi not being twelve and only a year younger than him. "It's the least I can do, to let you meet your new favorite band." He commented, assured this would change whenever Ichi's fickle mind saw to it.
"What makes you excited to meet them so much though? You don't know a word of their songs, and hate everyone here." Ichi saw those judging eyes glancing about.
"I do not hate everyone here. Even if I think some of them are stupid. But I am here because I feel that there's at least one man I can get along with and relate to. And I look forward to speaking to him on a matter of business most important to me."
"Well... As long as I can meet them. I'd love to be able to meet them before they get Huge." Ichi said, chuckling amused of himself. Daisuke not so much enthused by it.
"....So are you ready for our match this week?" Daisuke questioned, getting only a blink. "The match we have this week."
".....Ooh." Ichi nodded slowly, filled with mortification.
"Terrific..." Daisuke shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I have a plan going into it. So just follow my word." He said, annoyed at the brainlessness on display. Completely unaware of the grin creeping on Ichi's face.
"Is it a Huge plan?" He said giddily. Another mark upside the head.
"Shut up."
