Gimmick: Pretentious Model & Distinguished Gentleman
Personality: He’s very subconscious about his looks. He’s extremely shallow. He dislikes getting hit in the face. He has absolutely no emotional maturity. His entire life he’s relied on his good looks and the influence and social status of his mother to get by. He never takes accountability for his actions, and lives off of short cuts. Because of his lack of manhood, he’s not shy about throwing temper tantrums, or even crying to get what he wants.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character
1.. Wrestling Ability - He might not be the most physically imposing person in the world, but he definitely knows his way around a ring. His collegiate background, and the finest training money can afford lends him to be a very formidable ring technician.
2. Charm - Good looks and charm go hand in hand. Whether he’s speaking French to the ladies, or captivating in conversation, Bertrand can light up a room and manipulate people into helping him achieve his goals.
3. Influence - Money talks right?
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Vanity - Everything he does revolves around his looks, as with most attractive people. His desire to “look good while doing it”, often overshadows his desire to win.
2. Self Alienation - His snobbish disposition and spoiled upbringing creates a disconnect with the fans as well as alienates him from other wrestlers because they find him to be unbearable.
3. Cowardice - He hates getting hit in the face, its his money maker. He is easily punk’d out and intimidated, does not like confrontation.
Ahletic Background: Tennis, water polo, and took wrestling at the University of Yale. He has above average physical attributes. Not the fastest, not the strongest but can handle himself.
Biography: Bertrand has enjoyed a life where he seldom has had to lift his finger. He was born the only son to a self-made mother and thus has reaped the benefits of a privileged life. He moved from France to study in the United States. He attended Yale, and majored in Economics, though he was frequently chided by his mother for lacking ambition and performing poorly. He would later drop out. Throughout much of his youth and early adulthood, Tyler was subjected to a life of pampering. But as he grew older, his mother grew tired of him living off her wealth (and his laziness, lack of direction and money squandering didn’t help either.) Fearing he’d be cut off financially he looked for direction, and something to define himself.
Having always had a fondness for sports (tennis and polo) Phil explored his wrestling talents. An accomplished collegiate wrestler, Bertrand benefited from his mother’s connections and influence to get into the Indy Wrestling scene, and thus has traveled the world since 2008 (although he took a break after 2012). Now he has found EXODUS Wrestling, and more importantly (R)Evolution Wrestling, where wants to dust off the old boots and get back to chasing superstardom (and looking good while doing it.)
Outside of wrestling, Phil is of course a model, a published author, enjoys classical music, and copious drug use.

After a few moments, the remixed version of Jorge Quintero’s “300 Violin Orchestra” plays throughout the arena. The brash, egotistical Philippe Bertrand pushes through the curtains with a scarf hanging over his neck and a mirror in hand. The Frenchman admires himself as the crowd pour out their displeasure in response to his vanity. He merely ignores them, as licks his fingertips and brushes back his perfect brown hair.
With a wide smile on his face he begins his cocky strut to the ring in his black wrestling trunks, ignoring all the taunts being shot at him. His blazer hangs open, showing off his physique.
The self-assured smile remains on Phil’s chops as he begins to strut to the ring like a fashion model on a runway. He keeps his eyes on the ring, until he stops suddenly, looking around at all the fans voicing their opinions. Brushing his shoulders, he smirks, which only draws out the ire of the California crowd. He turns his attention back to his mirror, thoroughly enjoying what he sees as he blows himself a kiss and makes various sensual facial gestures. He finally turns and makes his way up the steps; Bertrand hops through the ropes then removes his blazer before setting his mirror down in the corner in preparation for the match.
