Previous E-Wrestling Experience: A bit
Character Info
Name: Carlos Cobelli
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs.
Hometown: Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Alignment: Heel (though he will occasionally be cheered against other heels)
Entrance Music: Buena Vista Social Club - Amor de Loca Juventud
Entrance Description:
Physical Appearance: Jon Kortajarena
Ring Attire: Light blue boots and elbow pads, white tights with light blue and gold designs.
Gimmick: Arrogant, preening foreign heel who is NOT FROM HERE™
Personality: Like most foreign heels in professional wrestling Carlos is inordinately proud of his heritage - he can hardly miss an opportunity to praise the virtues of his native Argentina. Carlos honestly believes that the E-Pro crowd are paying to see him, so he will often imitate the behaviors of an old-fashioned babyface: kissing babies, autographing signs, throwing his t-shirts into the crowd, et. cetera. The caveat is that he, of course, cheats all the time, cuts insulting promos and wrestles against people who are actually good guys.
List up to three strengths of your character:
1. Intelligent. Carlos wins as many matches with his brain as he does with his body. He is well-versed in all of the traditional "heel tricks" and he's even found success with a few bizarre ones over the years. He won his first championship in Mexico by feigning a heart attack and rolling up his opponent.
2. Diplomatic. Carlos is not past making the sort of alliance that breaks the "face-heel divide" (although he almost always tries to screw the good guy over in the end) and he's very aware of the political gamesmanship involved in positioning oneself for a title shot.
3. Nimble and athletic. He can run rings around some wrestlers, and he is able to pull off his exciting lucha-libre based offense because of that athleticism.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Overconfident. Since he always thinks he can outthink and outmove his opposition, he never second-guesses himself. This causes him to crash and burn, sometimes in a humiliating manner.
2. Tiny, and weak even relative to his size. He only incorporates a few lifting moves because he has a difficult time lifting almost anyone.
3. Brief yet illustrious history of dehabilitating knee injuries.
Biography:
Born in Buenos Aires 28 years ago, Carlos's background is not in boxing, amateur wrestling, mixed martial arts, or something that would actually make sense. He was a trainee at his beloved and "famous" local soccer club, Club Atlético Atlanta, and he played on the wing for a couple of years. Unfortunately, when he was only nineteen years old, he suffered a knee injury so devastating that it forced his premature retirement.
On the advice of his coaches, he received an education at the University of Buenos Aires, eventually matriculating with a degree in economics and perfecting his already-pretty-good English. He tried to make a few comebacks at local soccer teams during his time at the UBA, but he found that he could not perform at his old level and he lost most of his passion for the game. At the same time, a new passion was developing in him: a passion for professional wrestling, a business that meant hardly anything to anyone in Argentina. He saw his first show with one of the many women in his life - unfortunately, as it turned out, she didn't mean that much to him - but the wrestling did, and he resolved himself not to go into the stock market or the civil service, as his classmates were, but into professional wrestling.
He found immediate success, and quickly made his way up the paltry ranks of wrestling in his homeland. From there, he embarked on his "inexorable march northwards," in his words, working and excelling in Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia before settling in Mexico. It was Mexico where his star was born, winning a few major titles and, for the first time, winning some real publicity. He found that he quite loved the nomadic nature of wrestling, and opted for another move only two years after setting foot in the country of his greatest accolades.
Armed with Argentine confidence, a firm grasp of the Lucha Libre style, a wily mind and a bad knee, Carlos Cobelli makes his way to EXODUS. He doesn't quite know what the future holds, but he believes that it will be extremely bright.

Entrance Music: Buena Vista Social Club - Amor de Loca Juventud
Entrance Description:
The slow, luxurious chords of the Buena Vista Social Club hit the arena's PA system, which along with blue and yellow lights heralds the entrance of the self-proclaimed "Greatest Wrestler in Argentine History," Carlos Cobelli.
Matching the pace of his idiosyncratic entrance music, Carlos hardly takes his time walking down the entrance ramp, posing and gesticulating with hardly any concerns for time whatsoever.
Finally, he reaches the ring, climbs the top turnbuckle and, with both hands at his lips, blows a big kiss to a crowd that he believes to be firmly in his corner. They do not reciprocate.
