1. Christum Furor
- Just when you thought it was safe and that the nightmare and war was over! With the return of the rankings, the leader of Gods & Monsters sweeps onto the scene to gain the number one spot. Going into Absent Are the Saints, Christum Furor promised that he would recapture the EXODUS World Championship, and that there would be a surprise waiting for the Seikigun - and one of gigantic proportions at that. He wasn't lying either. First with Sally Talfourd returning, revealed to be the final member of Gods & Monsters, Christum would then go on to defeat Johnny Cannon later in the show to become the first two-time World Champion in company history! Now once again sitting at the top of the mountain, Furor looks to maintain his New Age as he heads into EXPRO on FX #17 alongside fellow G&M members Savannah Taylor and Sally Talfourd as they take on the EXODUS Seikigun of Fiona Collins, Lexy Chapel, and WEAPON!
2. Fiona Collins
- The monkey is finally off her back! It seems like forever ago when Fiona Collins was the EXODUS World Champion, helping to raise the company's public image, carrying the ball and running with it for dear life as she took on all comers. Since then she's tried numerous times to earn an opportunity to regain the company's top prize, failing to do so with runner-up finishes in both the Honor Cup, and the Brightest Day Cibernetico. However, it was at Absent Are the Saints that the Stardust Seraph was finally able to get over the hump. Outlasting Kerry Windsor to win The Crucible, Fiona becomes the number one contender to the EXODUS World Championship setting up a rematch against Christum Furor - and more importantly reigniting a rivalry that carried EXODUS in the first year.
3. Lexy Chapel
- The legend of Lexy Chapel continues to grow, and her rise to superstardom in the company has been one to remember. However, it hasn't been an easy rode for the International Champion, with no obstacle being bigger, and more emotionally traumatizing than her V1 defense against her idol in the "Saint of Violence", EXPRO Director Jonathan Collins. The man who brought the championship to prominence in New Era Wrestling provided a difficult challenge for Lexy, as he didn't hold any punches and tested her physical limits to the point that the young superstar nearly unraveled emotionally. In the end though, Lexy was able to overcome her fear of beating the very man she had put up on such a large pedestal, retaining her title and earning the respect and blessing of Jonathan Collins in the process.
4. Kerry Windsor
- The Crucible showcased a number of talented individuals from all walks of life, but none of them had quite the impact, and near match winning performance than Kerry Windsor. The multi-time World Champion and highly esteemed and respected veteran was announced as the first special entrant in the contest. And boy did he make good on it - well almost. The eleventh entrant in the contest nearly went the distance, avoiding elimination numerous times and navigating the match with the sort of wits and ring acumen that's turned him into one of the best wrestlers in the world today. It came down to Windsor and Fiona Collins, with the Stardust Seraph literally falling on top of the veteran to win the match. Still, it was an impressive performance, one the "EXODUS Nation" will not soon forget as Kerry will make his official EXPRO debut against Chuck Matthews in two weeks.
5. Chuck Matthews
- Chuck Matthews prides himself on being a step ahead of the rest of his competition, and since the first day he stepped foot in an EXODUS ring it seems like he's done just that. Few superstars had the level of momentum going into the Crucible that Mr. Matthews possessed. Not only that, but with a win in the Call Your Shot Fourway, Matthews earned the right to select his entry in the contest. The world speculated what number he would come in, however it's safe to say that Chuck shocked everyone when he decided to enter the match at two. A lot of people were left scratching their heads, wondering if Matthews really was "The Smartest Man in Professional Wrestling." Almost as much of a shock, he seemed to prove that he was indeed the genius he claimed to be as he nearly went the distance, lasting long enough to reach the final five before being tossed over by Kerry Windsor. Still, Absent Are the Saints proved to be a coming out party of sorts for Mr. Matthews, who will look to build off that performance as he tackles the very man who eliminated him, Kerry Windsor in a battle of two of the biggest egos in wrestling today.
6. Brando Martial
- So who had the (R)evolution Champion making it to the final four of The Crucible? Nobody? Yeah, that's right. Nobody in their right mind thought Brando Martial could put on the performance he did - well nobody but the young, brash champion himself. He came into the match with a massive chip on his shoulder, wanting to prove that he wasn't an inexperienced rookie, and that he could hang with the top superstars on the EXODUS Roster, and with top talent from all across the globe. Mission accomplished, Brando. The (R)evo Champion nearly pulled off the upset, only to have his dreams crushed in the end. That doesn't take away from what he accomplished though, as Brando has not only impressed many, but he's proved without a shadow of a doubt that his future is indeed bright and that he has an extremely high ceiling. We'll see if he can continue this momentum, and realize his potential going forward. Nevertheless, the sky is indeed the limit for Brando.
7. Savannah Taylor
- The Las Vegas Siren has had an interesting couple of months, to say the least. With her bitter rivalry with Tiffani Stearns becoming volatile, and her relationship with Cleon Gray becoming more and more unsettling, well for the viewers, Taylor definitely had a lot on her plate. At Absent are the Saints, the San Diego Bay Champion cleaned that plate, benefiting from Stearns' disappearance to cement her place on top of the San Diego Bay division. And that place was punctuated in a vicious assault on Darrin Stearns, who came out in his wife's honor, only to be assaulted by Cleon's new HeadMaster.
8. The Ninth Gate (Daisuke Iwakuma & Kameron Chase)
- Well that didn't take long. EXPRO on FX #16 marked the return of the "Perfect Evil" Daisuke Iwakuma, as he would help Kameron Chase screw Nate Soto over, take out the Tag Team Champions, and make their claim to the belts all at the same time. Absent Are the Saints indeed kicked off with a highly competitive contest between TROUBLE, and The Ninth Gate - two teams who have an unfathomable amount of animosity toward one another, and it spilled all over The Hammerstein Ballroom. In the end, distractions from Audrey Lloris and Norihiro Akashi proved to be the difference, as Iwakuma and Chase would go on to win the match becoming the first two time EXODUS Tag Team Champions.
9. Abby Park
- There are few figures in EXODUS more endeared to the fans than Abby Park. The reason for that, well there's plenty. She has a big heart, tremendous tenacity, and an iron clad will that has helped her overcome gigantic obstacles and seemingly insurmountable odds in the past. The Crucible almost became another one of those impossible feats and milestones for Park, as she entered the match as the first entrant, and would circumvent elimination on a plethora of occasions on her way to outlasting some of the best and brightest competitors in the world. Unfortunately, her near historic, folk-story like run in the match would come to a bitter end. That doesn't take away from what Abby accomplished, as she proved yet again that she can stand on level ground with the best in the world, reminding EXODUS that she is capable of greatness just when you least expect it.
10. Johnny Cannon
- Mr. EXODUS had all the momentum in the world. He had finally captured the EXODUS World Championship, realizing a dream he'd been chasing since the company first opened it's door. Having won the big one, and defeated Justin Brooks on FX #16, it seemed like the British Mamba was primed for a long and incredible run with the belt. However, it was not to be as he ran into a brick wall in the form of Christum Furor. The Triple Crown winner fought valiantly, and proved his mettle, giving the self-proclaimed "God of EXODUS" all he could handle. Indeed, Cannon had Furor right where he wanted him, going as far as to call his shot in a massive show of self-confidence. Unfortunately for Cannon, Christum would be the one to hit the homerun, defeating Mr. EXODUS with The Butterfly Effect, ending his reign before he could really his stride. Still, Johnny has nothing to be ashamed of, as he has now captured 3 of the four championships in the company, and has definitely cemented his legacy in EXODUS.
Just missed:
