She long gave up on trying to be formal in the ways of business. Her dress looked quite like a kimono, something Daisuke preferred and purchased for her personally. No matter what you defined their relationship as, it was nobody's business but Daisuke's and Audrey's. As she waited patiently in the hotel lobby, she saw a guest coming up to her. His long hair made it a dead giveaway, but even so, Kliff Ulysses still gave her a knowing nod as if to remind her they were all gathering.
"Did you wear him out?" Kliff asked.
"I did what needed to be done for Iwakawa-san. I am at his disposal, Mr. Ulysses," Audrey said curtly, making Kliff grin.
"I like your style, sweetheart. You're a lot more useful than that nancy, Ichi," he replied. She simply smirked.
There he came. Gray jacket, black v-neck shirt, black slacks, nice shoes. Daisuke's sunglasses hid his eyes, something he preferred. Eyes told stories, Daisuke didn't want to give that much away. Seeing both Audrey and Kliff, he walked over to his friends, giving a nod to his assistant, and a handshake to his now-friend.
"She says you're a wildcat, Daisuke," Kliff said, raising an eyebrow at him.
"I think you're fishing. Has that foolish cousin of mine made you want to strangle him yet?" Daisuke asked.
"You don't need to worry about that. He's doing just fine," Kliff said. "I might be able to whip him into some shape if you give me a chance."
"You do that, and I'll be in your debt," he said to Kliff, finally taking off his sunglasses. "Listen, I think it's time we start consolidating. I'm planning on talking to Donovan Torment in the next couple of days, and it's time we start putting our pieces in order," he told him.
"What did you have in mind?" Kliff asked.
"It's simple...we cut the heart out of our mutual friend. No heart, no fight," Daisuke said without skipping a beat. He smirked at him, and it was a look Kliff was starting to get used to. He had friends like this before. Friends like Angelo Valour that had plans.
The difference is that nothing was short term to Daisuke. He had this mapped from start to finish. And it was exactly why Kliff smirked back at him.
"You...I like you."
Daisuke simply chuckled. He liked that response.
"We're just getting started, my friend," he told the rock star. This was going to be fantastic indeed.
A few hours later, they all sat at a bar. It was definitely something Daisuke whipped up, the lifestyle he preferred. Corner booth, plenty of drinks, but not too much to inhibit their thoughts. Again, Daisuke looked detatched from the situation. The more and more he stayed away from home, the more he began taking after his new mentor. Having been absorbed into what seemed to be his Legion, Daisuke hardly noticed the hand on his thigh. Audrey was attempting to get his attention.
"My lord, tell me your thoughts," she whispered in her ear, before gently biting at his earlobe.
"I'm thinking that it's a shame the world didn't end. Countless souls screaming. Death helps you figure out who you really are, Audrey. The French term for orgasm roughly translates to 'the little death'. For many nights, I have seen pieces of the real you, and it is why you are one of the few who gets to know who I am," he whispered. He still looked detatched as her hand rubbed him gently.
"Do I really know you?" she asked.
"We are legion, for we are many...but you know this vessel well enough," he told her. "Nobody really knows me, and truth be told, I prefer it that way."
"He knows you. And I will soon enough," she whispered in her ear, the first sign of any emotion other than sheer malice coming onto Audrey's face in the form of a malevolent grin. "Trust me, my lord."
Daisuke nodded. As he looked at what was in his booth and around him, he knew that this was the life he had envisioned from the start. Decadence and danger. Everything he could have designed now sat in his palms.
The young conqueror had everything and yet nothing at the same time. He was yet to be satisfied.

Considering the RIMAC Arena's use by the school for its athletics, there was a cage that contained much of the equipment used by the teams. Standing in the cage, fenced in, was Daisuke Iwakuma. Leaning against it like a man in solitary confinement, he closed his eyes as he looked down and began to speak.
"I expected more, truth be told. I expected better. They give the little girl a true test, and I get a man who barely squeaked into the Winter Road tournament. What I see here is nothing more than a letdown. Then I hear he wishes not to fufill his contractual obligations. What are you afraid of, Swag? Do you wish to not be further embarassed when I break you? Do you want better?"
"You do not deserve better, gaijin. You're lucky you were given this much."
"This tournament is for me, in case you haven't noticed. While the sharks with everything to prove feed themselves to my ally Kliff Ulysses, the rest of you fall one by one to me. Swag, Johnny Cannon, and...oh yes, you, Fiona."
"Isn't it funny, Fiona? After all this time, our paths cross again. You thought it would be funny to rob me of destiny, the very thing you're aching to find of your own. As the world hails your controversial uprising, I know what I see. I see fear, Fiona. Fear that you're more hype than reality."
He smirks, one hand slamming the cage.
"Is this a shock to your system? I don't think you're a made woman from our glorious leader, nor have you used your charm and sensuality to ascend to the top. I think you are as much of a fairy tale as the stories you love to read and tell. I won't dismiss you yet, but I am onto you," he said with a chuckle, nodding while he looked on.
"Here is the reality. Destiny dictates it will come down to you and me, because you have set yourself in my path. If my goal is to destroy your truest love, then I suppose I will have to destroy you first. When I rip out the heart, I will destroy the man and what is left of him. Can't you see he's dying already? Inside, he's wilting, killing himself slowly. He's not meant to be an observer, you know this. Now that he's back, it's killing him to see you go to war without him...and it will kill him to watch me kill you."
"Just you wait, Pixie. Just you wait."
Fade.
