OK...
The roster for (R)Evo is huge.
Like, massively massively huge.
I think this is mostly because there's nowhere for them to go, creatively. A lot of these characters people don't intend to promoting to full time characters, thus they live in developmental in perpetuity. More characters get added to the list, no-one leaves, and it goes super huge.
I'd like to propose two things.
One, I think we should ask if there's anybody currently on the roster that we can drop now. There's a few I've identified potentially, but would want to ask.
Two, I think we should formalise how (R)Evolution works in relation to the Dojo and non-Dojo members. I'd propose classes become 6 months, which would put this big group of new influx as the start of Class 3.
The second factor of that is how long do we keep people in development? Do they stay indefinitely? Is there a "you're not ready now, we can't do anything else for you, go train elsewhere" cut off point.
One thing that could potentially help decide this, is an idea of what characters, if any, people are currently thinking of moving up in the future, as well as what they view their status as being.
For example, I currently handle, in (R)Evo, Cthulhu, Explosivo and Sue. Of these, Cthulhu is the only one who I plan on transitioning at some point to main roster. Explosivo and Sue are both Dojo students, I imagine in Class 2 and Class 3 respectively, with Cthulhu competing as a full time wrestler under contract.
Assuming we take classes as being 6 months, starting February and August, we are just about to start Class 3. If your character kind of falls halfway between classes, pick one. For example, Sue began prior to class 3, but I would say developmentally he belongs there. Oliver Creed, however, started just before class 2, but developmentally is advanced enough to be considered Class 1.
