Character Info
Name: Christum Furor/Magnus Gunner
Height: 6'4
Weight: 248 Ibs
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
Alignment: Unknown ( Resurrected. Rehabilitated. Revamped. Nobody can know for certain what his motivations are - outside of reclaiming the EXODUS World Championship. Considering his past, his propensity for violence and his ability to effortlessly manipulate those around him, there is a natural hatred and distrust for him by many of the population, while others revere and worship him as an icon, cult leader, and deity to a more extreme extent. However, what is certain, is that no one can predict his actions, nor can they sway him to do anything other than what he intends to do. For an individual who always has an ulterior motive, and has an allegiance only to himself, EXODUS will forever be on its heels when concerning the eloquent madman. )
Entrance Music: "Albatross" by Corrosion of Conformity
Physical Appearance: Sami Calihan/Solomon Crowe
Ring Attire: Tights, knee length boots, knee pads, and white hockey tape from hands to forearms unless specified otherwise.
Gimmick: Unique - A combination of Split Personality Disorder/Manic Depressive/Messiah Complex/Lone Wolf.
Personality: The personalities vary by which individual you're dealing with. Magnus Gunner is more mild mannered, and slightly more empathetic while his counterpart Christum Furor is ruthless, indifferent, and often volatile. While the former can be reasoned with to a degree, the latter cannot be influenced in any way, shape or form. Magnus has a semblance of his humanity intact thanks in part to his unbreakable connection with his ex-fiancé Haven Silver; to the contrary, Christum is not human. He is a persona created by Gunner's need for companionship during his adolescence when he was subject to a substantial amount of mental and physical abuse that contributed to feelings of self-loathing, inadequacy, and nihilism. Due to this, Furor is the manifestation of Gunner's hatred, and possesses a surreal thirst for blood, a savage disposition, and an unsatisfiable hunger for power and superiority. In recent years, Christum has become the dominant persona, but after spending the last half year underground, it remains to be seen which one of the two is in control at this time.
1. Intelligence - Regardless of who you're dealing with between Furor and Gunner, he is supremely intelligent, possessing an arguably genius level intellectual prowess (or absolute intellect in Furor's case). He is tactical, and militant in his mental preparation. His logic is always sound. Rarely if ever is he influenced by emotion. He is the epitome of a cerebral assassin.
2. Dogma - He is driven by his goals to a tee. His ambition fuels him. Because of this, his physical endurance is raised to almost Michael Myers like levels and is downright masochistic. He can absorb ridiculous amounts of pain, and has been known to fight through injuries and even tremendous blood loss - evidenced by the countless ultra violent matches that he has headlined in EXODUS (and won). He does not rest until he has achieved his victory, whether that be in the ring, or outside of it. His determination is one of his greatest attributes.
3. Multiple Personas - Rarely is a split personality disorder a strength for a human being, but in his case it affords him a level of unpredictability that no other wrestler can present. That allows him to throw his opponents off balance at all times. No one can confidently prepare for him inside the ring, nor can they predict or plan against his actions or motivations outside of the squared circle. He is a true wild card.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Ego - He is simply put, a self-aware megalomaniac. Humility was never an attribute for Magnus Gunner, and it certainly wasn't a component in the DNA of Christum Furor. Blinding hubris has been his professional and personal undoing several times, and will always remain his biggest Achilles Heel.
2. Needs To Be Proven Right - An extension of his ego, is his obsession to be constantly proven right. If it's one thing he hates, it's to be made out to be a liar - or worse, a fool.
3. Haven Silver - She has that Betty Ross and Natasha Romanova effect on him. She is rarely ever seen on screen, but behind the scenes her influence is surreal. She allows him to maintain a measure of sanity when around, and more importantly weakens that other, more sinister side of him that you know - created Gods & Monsters, put countless wrestlers and staff in the hospital and ruled EXODUS with an iron fist for an entire year.
Biography: In 2014 Magnus Gunner for all intents and purposes was swallowed whole by his darker side, the nihilistic and sadistic misanthropist known famously as Christum Furor. Initially, he joined forces with Ryuji Kamigawa to found Gods & Monsters. However, as Furor's power grew, so did his reign of terror. He brainwashed and manipulated the likes of Zack Lifer, helping to unscrew the bolts that have led to Nick Kramer becoming as unhinged as he is today. He turned known evangelist Jerry Matthews into a mindless worshipper. And he even swayed the allegiance of Savannah Taylor on his way to capturing the EXODUS World Championship.
However, it wasn't until the latter part of the year that Christum Furor solidified himself as the most infamous superstar in EXODUS history, as well as one of the most notorious figures in all of pro wrestling. In a shocking turn of events, the villain was able to corrupt the mind of hero Sally Talfourd, turning her heel for the first time in her illustrious career - a feat that nearly overshadowed him capturing the EXODUS World Championship for a second time. With The Last Magician - rechristened as The Last Clairvoyant, and the Las Vegas Siren by his side, Furor terrorized EXPRO, wreaking havoc on the company, and rebuilding it into a world which he coined "The New Age."
That New Age was destroyed at The Autumn Effect 2, as Gods & Monsters disbanded and were subsequently defeated throughout the night, ending with Chuck Matthews being banned from the company and Chris Strike burying the madman alive to win the World Title and save EXODUS.
After spending nearly half a year presumably dead, Christum Furor seemingly rose from the grave at "This War Isn't Over Yet" looking to once again take his place at the top of the mountain.
Wrestling Style: Brawler/Grappler/Technical - At its core, his offense is an in your face, kamikaze style assault. But there are many layers to his style. There's the brawler, who relies on hard-hitting strikes, and big moves, and loves to use foreign objects whenever allowable. There's the methodical, technical wrestler who focuses on injuries, weaknesses and body parts and targets them with deadly proficiency. And then there's that one who throws caution to the wind and will win by any means necessary, even if it means putting his opponent, or even himself in a hospital by night's end - pick your poison.

Entrance Music: "Albatross" by Corrosion of Conformity
The house lights suddenly dim in the arena; the venue is shrouded in a dark and ominous ambiance. The teaming masses of humanity in their seats stand in anticipation, while those already on their feet cheer and holler, and soon the spectrum fills with electricity: Now the arena lightning fixtures cast only vague silhouettes- while flashing cameras and EXIT signs located around the building provide the lone source of illumination. Realizing what lies on the horizon, those situated in the first few rows feverishly storm the guardrail along the aisle, as all eyes in the arena turns toward the entryway. The EXO-tron comes to life now, accompanied by the gradual guitar build-up and drums of Corrosion of Conformity's hit, Albatross. As the montage fades in, the infamous figure is exhibited in a pose lacking of color - he is captured in black and white values, with a glimpse of color every now and then as the video package displays his career highlights and signature moves. As the song picks up, a spotlight shines across the curtain that veils the entrance - it slowly begins to sway, and is finally parted like the Red Sea by the self-proclaimed deity who comes into the full view of those in attendance, his arms at his side, his hair darker, looking somewhat gelled. An uproar from the crowd is heard - while those characterized as Internet fans cheer, others who cannot overlook his past misdeeds boo vehemently - nevertheless, the audience reacts to the two time World Champion's arrival as he outstretches his broad arms out by his side and tilts his head back slightly, taking in a deep breath as he closes his eyes.
[div align="center"]Well, I'm feelin' left behind
Lord, what a waste of time!
They're gonna get you, run on
How can I respect your crime,
When all you criminals whine?
They bought and sold you, run on, run on, yeah[/div]
The EXODUS Original dawns a denim combat vest, underneath it is a tee with the sleeves torn off by hand with "RISE" spray painted in black. Completing his attire is a pair of black and grey tights with three white lines running horizontally across both thighs, black knee pads, a pair of long black ring boots, and white hockey style tape covering the wrists starting at the knuckles and stretching up to his forearms. The cold and calculating figure looks out toward the ring and begins to saunter, a plodding, methodical walk - leading with his alarms as they dangle loosely, somewhat swaying with a swagger that highlights the level of self-confidence he possesses.
[b]David Zinkus: Coming to the ring, he weighs in tonight at two hundred and forty eight pounds and fights out of Detroit, Michigan. He is the one they call... CHRISTUM! FUROR!
[div align="center"]Well, you can call me crazy
You can call me wrong, 'cause
See I was born a liar, albatross
Fly on, fly on[/div]
At the beckoning of his name, Furor quickly flanks to one side of the aisle and climbs onto the railing, perching himself as he sneers down at the onlookers basking in his presence. Once more, the man of infinite wisdom poses as more patrons rush the barricade while those too far away to get any closer continue to cheer or boo the polarizing superstar.
[div align="center"]My home is kind, man it pays to be blind. Well, I promise to forget you, run on, yeah. No swallowed pride, no conspiracy lie. Oh, broken promise of virtue, run on, Lord, run on[/div]
Christum climbs down from the barricade to continue his march to the ring, glancing calmly at the onlookers on either side of him through his peripheral vision.
[div align="center"]Well you can call me lazy. But I know where I belong, cause. Cause i was born a liar. Albatross, fly on, fly on
With your trust in love. From your god above. Oh i believe. The albatross is me.[/div]
He knees up onto the apron, replacing said knee with a foot as he comes to a stand along the ropes. He continues along the aisle-side, and as he approaches the turnbuckle closest to the camera, he plants a foot onto the second turnbuckle and comes to stand tall over the sea of people. Taking in a deep breath, for the third and final time he comes to pose with his martyr-esque symbolism.
[div align="center"]Well, you can call me crazy. You can call me wrong, 'cause. See I was born a liar, albatross Fly on, fly on[/div]
He drops down and slips between the middle and top ropes, the house lights now making a slow return to their normal fixture while Christum Furor backs into the opposite corner from which he was perched and drops to a seated position, his head resting against the second turnbuckle pad while his mid-back is leant up against the first. He bends one leg so that his knee sticks upward, whilst the other is simply left to lie flat in a quarter-turn. As "Albatross" fades out, the electricity of the crowd comes to a fever pitch as they cheer and get ready for the contest.
