Entrance Description: “Angel Eyes” by Love and Theft begins to play at the chorus as Heather Halliwell skips way out from the curtain. She twirls, arms out and smiling as the crowd cheers. She removes her cowboy hat and salutes the crowd with it before putting it back on and skipping her way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans as she goes. She slides into the ring and climbs each corner rope, blowing kisses and posing.
Physical Appearance: Heather is a blond hair, turquoise eyed girl of the Southwest. She is very petite, and has maintained her dancers body through her years of wrestling. She is always naturally tan and smiling.
Ring Attire: Typical ring gears included short denim shorts, different colored tank tops, white boots with arm and elbow pads to match the color tank top and cowgirl hat she wears to the ring.
Gimmick: Heather is a Yellow Rose of Texas, and she allows her personality to shine through. But don’t be fooled, just because she is sweet and polite, she is no pushover. If someone crosses her, you best watch your ass.
Personality: Heather is a country girl personified. Her idea of a good party is a bonfire/tailgate circle with good country music and even better beer. She’s nice to everyone, preferring to give anyone a chance. She’s always smiling until you make her angry.
List up to three strengths of your character; they can be in-ring related, personality related, whatever you think helps define your character:
1. A former world class ballroom dancer with extensive ballet training to match, Heather is very quick, agile and flexible in the ring. Given her size, this can come in very handy against much bigger opponents.
2. Heather defines Southern hospitality, she’s always willing to bend over backwards to help others, which has the potential to gain her many allies backstage.
3. As a wrestler, she’s well trained in flying off the ropes and submission wrestling. Both may help her gain an advantage in any match at any given moment.
List up to three weaknesses of your character:
1. Heather is very small, so if she gets caught by a bigger opponent, the match is pretty much over.
2. She has a fondness for partying, which could get her into a lot of trouble, depending on how much she drinks and who she drinks around.
3. She is still recovering from a recent addiction problem, and is constantly faced with the temptation to relapse.
Biography:
Heather was raised on a farm in Texas with loving parents and the middle sister of three. She grew up dancing, it was and to this day remains, her passion. Her career as a dancer was cut short at 17 when her own older sister had her injured intentionally before a competition.
It didn’t take Heather long to fall into wrestling, after attending a few indy shows in her area. She began training and fell in love with being in the ring quickly. She exceled in her training and was quickly noticed by the XWF, where she was offered a contract.
In her first match, she was noticed by XWF Megastar Steve Jason, who took her under his wing… But that quickly turned to romance and the two have a famous on-again, off-again relationship. Even though it didn’t end well, the two adopted Heather’s niece after her youngest sister died tragically. The two have twins of their own, and it seemed as though the two were finally going to have their “happily ever after”…
Then WGWF happened. Heather had been retired happily for nearly 3 years when she felt compelled to return after seeing a friend of her falling in with a bad group of people. Somewhere along the way, the same people managed to whisper in her ear and Heather herself fell into that group, which included dating the corrupt co-owner of the WGWF.
During her WGWF tenure, she became addicted to pain killers and Exstasy to drown out the memories of the life she had with Steve Jason, and soon began living a promiscuous lifestyle to try and fill the void from her old life. Eventually, she saw for herself there was a problem and entered rehab.
Upon being released, her longtime friend and lawyer Chloe O’Brien helped her find work in PDW, as Star Deveraux’s right hand woman. The match was awkward to begin with, since Star and Heather were coming off the heels of a very heated and very personal feud in WGWF. However, Heather is determined to prove to Star that the woman she knew in WGWF is not the real Heather.
Heather was recently approached by Jonathon Collins about taking part in Exodus Wrestling’s Twitter Invitational. Heather jumped at the chance, not only to show she is still champion caliber in the ring, but to help broker an alliance between Exodus and PDW. So Heather is now representing PDW in Exodus Wrestling for the for seeable future.
