[PWX No Limits ; Milwaulkee ; January 23 2013 - After the UWL Jr. Heavyweight Title match]
She did it. She won her first singles title, the Jr. Heavyweight title. For Tiami Tyler, the road here was a long one. She was a former PWX tag team champion. Her tag team partner Jessica Harmony stabbed her in the back outright however, so she said she was done with it all when it came to tag team wrestling. Two things happened with that however.
One: her sister Danielle was becoming quite the singles wrestler herself.
Two: She just won the UWL Jr. Heavyweight champion, knowing the tag team gauntlet for EXODUS was not far off.
Getting back to her locker room, those thoughts filled her head. There were two other thoughts that did however. It was those of her fiance Joe and her daughter Annabelle. This was the reason she went out there and busted her ass. This was the reason she won the belt. This...those were the reasons that she loved pro wrestling. She sat down to a brown envelope off to the right of her on the bench. While all the other men and women were running in and out of the locker room for the rest of the pay per view, Tiami looked with intent at this envelope simply titled "EXODUS' and her eyes lit up.
"It finally arrived. I wondered when it was coming."
She slid over, grabbing the large envelope and opened it. She then pulled out the item she was most proud of, her first ever wrestling title.
The PWX tag team title belt. Well...hers that she got when she was champion. She smiled and slid that sucker around her right shoulder, the Jr. Heavyweight belt firmly on her left. She reached down in her bag, grabbing a video camera. This was going to be posted on her website when all was said and done. She managed to find a rather quiet spot in the locker room and set her stuff up. The tag strap went down to the right side of her on the bench, the other belt still around her shoulder. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail, took a breath and hit record, backing out of the way so the camera captured everything.
Greeting Icy Rebels from Milwaulkee. I come to you tonight a champion. That is right folks, I am the UWL Jr. Heavyweight champion and its a great feeling for me. I am going to take several hours just to let the feeling of accomplishment soak in. This belt means that I am the best there is within not just the leauge, but wrestling as a whole.
Now, that is not to say I am just going to sit on my haunches and rest after this win. Hell no, that is not how the Icy Revolution rolls. Four days from now, I head off to sunny California. San Diego is the home of EXODUS wrestling and home to a new tag team in the business.
The Icy Rebels.
My sister Danielle and I make our debuts against Michael Alexander and big ol' Steve Lenton. I wouldn't be sitting here directly after a title match talking to you about this debut of proportions if several things were not a factor. The first of which being that this is the EXODUS debut for all four of us. Now that breaks down even further. You have a guy like Lenton. He is tough, I will grant him. Looked over his bio and he surely isn't one to be taken lightly at all.
Lenton, neither are we.
Steve, I will let you know right now EXODUS signed a blue chip girl in myself. See this belt off to the right? That is a tag title belt I won. I would have never signed to this company if the opportunity didn't arise for me to be atop a tag team mountain as rich as this one. The fact that my own sister Danielle stepped up to the plate and is at my side...well...its a lethal reality that you are going to face first hand at E-Pro Four this week. Now I must grant E-Pro executives one piece of friendly advice.
Remember Lenton's partner? Don't think us in the Tyler Clan doesn't know who he is.
Just because Michael is a very talent E-Pro rookie...we know his lineage. Jakob Alexander, those are quite the big shoes to fill. We ourselves have our own big shoes to fill. If anyone in this profession has ever heard of the name Daniel Tyler, you will know exactly what I am talking about. Yes, that is our brother. He is a former world champion. I knew myself when I won the tag title belt that was the first step to my own world title.
Blood. Sweat. Tears. Respect. You give and give and give those first three for the last one to grace you. Michael, you say family names don't matter. You say that your a man of violence. You must understand that we are as well. I participated in the Coma Pit match, and if you go back and watch a coma pit you know the only way to win that shit is by dropping fifteen feet from scaffolding to a pit of flaming tables. I shattered my knee and took three years of my career away so if you think I don't know violence...son, don't even think about getting me in a bad mood. Now Danielle has been through table and hardcore matches and she has been in the sport since December.
Don't take us lightly. We can take pain as well as we dish the stuff out. EXODUS will be talking and when this match is over, they will be talking about their next tag team champions. Icy Rebels.
The Revolution is just beginning. You boys will be the first victims.
She blows a kiss, gets up and shuts the camera off. As soon as that happens, she hears "Diamond Eyes" coming from her cell phone. She smiles and gets up, grabbing her belts and her camera and heading back to the busy locker room. Looking down, she was not happy to see the number across the screen.
He just would not stop until he had his way.
