We have a good chunk of news coming out of Invincible! Let's not waste time, let's get right to it!
- EXODUS has been contacted by a representative of former wrestlers Xavier and Melissa Michaels about personally attending E-Pro Television #8. Business or pleasure, the Michaels likely have a motive for such a public appearance. It will also be the first time that they will be seen at a wrestling event in over four years!
- EXODUS interviewer Tom Matheny was able to catch up with the inaugural San Diego Bay Champion "The Evangelist" Jerry Matthews to get his thoughts on his victory and the events that transpired with Jonathan Collins at Invincible:
"Having a competitor with my pedigree and religious background can only be good for EXODUS Pro and for the San Diego Bay area as a whole. With a champion such as myself that can embody the area's religious heritage will make EXODUS the proverbial shining city on a hill that it truly can be. This is especially true now that that false messiah Jonathan Collins had his wings clipped by the members of LEGION tonight. Now, the fans of EXODUS finally have a champion they can be proud of and the children can see what is possible through the power of God's grace. Let the fate of Blake Jones be a message that will put the rest of the roster on notice. If you mess with a man of the cloth, you will end up facing the Savior's Wrath. The Word of the Lord, Thanks Be to God."
- A number of reputable sources confirm that Magnus Gunner suffered numerous injuries in the Chairshot Survival Match against Fiona Rourke. The RIMAC medical staff didn't give much specifics regarding the severity of those injuries. They did however confirm that the "Loaded Pistol" is suffering from a partially bruised sternum, as well as bruised ribs. It is not certain yet if he'll miss any time to heal his ailing wounds and appendages.
- Ryuji Kamigawa stormed out of the RIMAC Arena following his defeat at Invincible (and shared commiseration over his office's alcohol with Jimmy Riley). Notably, EXODUS Pro officials were looking for the self-proclaimed mercenary, as a piece of correspondence had been found with the Man in White's name on it.
- In the wake of the devastating attack on former EXODUS Pro Director and his exile from the company, Rufus Frost was quick to name Head Road Agent Darrin Stearns interim Director. He was quick to not only sign Natalie Bateman to an EXODUS contract, but put her in the main event of E-Pro Television #8!
EXODUS Pro fans have become some of the best in pro wrestling. All across the globe, the brand is building, resulting in successful tours of Japan for several of our wrestlers with Kingdom of Japan Pro Wrestling. Now, in partnership with KJPW, we begin the march to one of the biggest weekends in the history of pro wrestling! May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd are the dates where Kingdom of Japan Pro Wrestling and EXODUS Pro Wrestling will not only combine to deliver one of KJPW's biggest shows of the year, KANSAI PRO-WRESTLING FESTIVAL 2013, but a joint card, to conclude the weekend with our third iPPV, Desperate Times!
